I'll be one of the handful on here that vouch for this elixir. Try it. Uniqueness goes a long ways amongst a only midly differentiated (largely) playing field of IPAS and DIPAS.
Pours amber (fat tire..) with solid medium bubbles and head leaving a pronounced lacing across the surface. Smells of earthy hops, reeeaaally earthy, like pasture, hay, some onion and/or garlic, etc. Not at all unpleasant, but definitly gets points for pronounced and distinctive originality! Tastes very rich. Mouthfilling and the hops aren't in the least abrasive. Flavorful and characterful. Smooth on the palate, with no lingering astringency for a potent DIPA, down remarkably well, but in the end, this is a 2x12oz and I think I'd move on to something else. In the end, I think that speeks to its originality and the fact that you lose that after a bit. Try it though, it is solid bubbles.

Enjoyed this 12oz can out of a Beligan Tulip glass.
A: Pours a dark copper hue with an off-white, 2-finger, frothy head that slowly dissipates leaving a good trail and solid lace.
S: Sweet malty and bitter hoppy aroma.
T: Very sweet almost barley wine-like. Predominant malty followed by mellow bitter hoppiness. Finishes on the sweet side of dry.
M: Very strong with a heavy body and medium carbonation.
O: Decent imperial IPA – a little too balanced towards the malt and not enough hops.

Bottle poured into a tulip shape glass
Appearance: filtered, orangy, light amber colored with a finger white head.
Smell: piney, citrusy, sweet,
Taste: piney and hoppy on the front end with a hint of caramel, vanilla sweetness in the middle with a hint of alcohol.
Mouthfeel: Thick syrupy mouthfeel with little carbonation.
Overall: This is a malt heavy beer, with a great amount of hops added it to it. It is not overly sweet nor bitter. It is a very unique beer and I am looking foreword to do blind tastings with this one a several other DIPAs. It was a bit overpriced in my opinion for just a 4 pack but this is something that one must buy at least once to try it out. It is a great quality beer with its own unique flavor to it.

bottle into Duvel glass
appearance: clear orange/amber with reddish hue, 1 finger white head with minor lacing
smell: tropical fruits, citrus, grapefruit, and some very earthy floral-ness. not too much aroma but very pleasant. I love how you can smell the bitterness
taste: Way more malt that I was expecting, or the nose led to believe. Not very bitter, the hoppiness is very smooth earthy and resinous, which fades into the sweet complex malt backbone that takes prominence over the entire flavor profile. Alcohol warmth is present, the ending is very quick not much lasting flavor or bitterness.
mouthfeel: not very carbonated at all, and very thick syrupy feel
overall: Skipped over many times because it was hard to justify $16.99 for 4 cans, hard to justify spending that much, but figured I had to buy it once. I wish it was cheaper so I could afford it more, as that's to the point of ridiculous as far as prices go, but still something that every beer advocate should try once (split one with your buddy!). Way more malt heavy than most other DIPAs, I wish it had a little more floral hop taste to back the smell up but regardless a great beer, there's just a lot better and cheaper options.
In all honesty, I would say pass on this. It should be half the price and even then I would possibly buy something else. I love Oskar Blues but this beer is WAY too overpriced (In Michigan i see it for $14.99 which is still crazy). Buy something else that's better and cheaper.
