Stopped by with my brother and cousin for a few drinks after a pizza lunch across the street.

About 2 dozen tap lines with 2 house beers; one brewed by Sixpoint and the other by Stoudt's. they had a good mix of local/regional beers (Brooklyn, Greenpoint, Cpt Lawrence, Southern Tier) and nationwide beers (Goose Island, Anchor, Green Flash).

The interior of the place was inviting with dark wood colors and a touch if historical feel, playing to its location in old New York. Service was alright but not terrific.

I would certainly visit again, if in the area as there are a limited number of beer bars in that portion of Manhattan.

A new beer bar and growler joint down in the Wall Street area, tucked away in a side street I had never walked before. Out back, the place opens into pedestrian Stone Street, where a bunch of bars and restaurants have tables for al fresco dining.

The wife and I dag the ambience, chill on a Saturday afternoon/evening. We'd gladly hang out here if we lived in the area. They have pretty waitresses in skimpy dresses to boot, but at least during our visit they were all a bit too busy with the outdoor tables and service suffered. Our server also did not replace my grossly overcooked burger and that didn't make me happy.

Beer! There are 20 beer taps here, plus a "cocktail tap" (gin-tonic) and a "punch tap". Believe it! This is a new bar but they already have contracted two house beers, one by Stoudt's and another one by Harpoon.

Beyond that, Sierra Keller and Pale Ale, Oskar Old Chubb, Lakefront IPA (didn't know it was distributed in NY!), Greenport Harbor Hoppy Stout, Great Divide Collette and Bruery White Oak. For what I've seen on their Facebook page, they get rare kegs from time to time.

Most beers are served in biggish 16-oz mugs, except for some that come in 10-oz goblets. $7 for a beer ain't bad, and $9 for my White Oak is understandable.

The food comes in a small menu with lots of meat (bone marrow, burgers, hot dogs and the works). We oredered an American Kobe burger that came overcooked and pricey at $9 for six ounces and little flavor plus cheese and bacon at an extra cost. The accoutrements are nice, though: crispy spicy chips, Boston lettuce, non-pungent onion.

I will revisit and hopefully the food and service get better. With that, and despite the prices, this could easily become a destination.
