Part of a visit to Dry Dock, Brew Hut was right next door. Easy to find on a busy street in Aurora and plenty of parking as it's located in a strip mall.

Once inside, there are a variety of equipment for all grain, wine makers and extract brews. Typical equipment including brew pots, a variety of burners and tubing equipment that you see in home brew shops. Some unique things that I thought was really cool, is that they had a few mini-casks. They were from 2L to 5L. Never seen that before. There also was a good selection of tap handles from a few local breweries from CO. Including Coors, what is that doing there? On the far wall there was a HUGE selection of wine kits. Not only did they have a huge variety but a lot of kits. The grain selection was on the back end of the story. Have most typical malts but limited on specialty. They had a mill in the back area as well.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although we didn't come for anything we ended up talking to everyone there who were very knowledgeable and helpful. While we were there, a couple came in and asked a bunch of questions. They were definitely newbies to brewing. Steve (?) went step by step and answered all their questions. He even went over to some of their equipment and showed them the process.

The prices were pretty typical. Some the equipment was a bit cheaper than my normal stomping grounds, but some of the grain was a bit pricier as well. Overall, if I lived in Denver this would be my shop for sure.

They have an amazing grain room with a mill. They are willing to help you with picking equipment, but they also can help construct or give ideas to create a cheaper alternative. The staff is friendly. They have multiple brands of almost every item The Brew Hut has to offer. This is the beer supply store connected to Dry Dock Brewery.

Excellent place. From the most basic kits to full on all grain brewing, and even barrels, the place has it all. Add to that a friendly, helpful AND informed staff, and the place is a definite resource to any home brewer. As a plus, it's attached to Dry Dock brewing, and if you find one of the brews you like, you can come over and get a clone kit to make it at home. They also have wine making supplies, though I have only shopped for beer ingredients and gear, so I can't speak to that, but their selection DOES seem to be as well stocked as the brewing supplies.

I stop by this place every time I am in the area. They have just about everything you could need for a brew day, and the expertise to go along with it. They have every type of grain I can think of, and you can buy whatever quantity you need. While I wish my LHBS had this, what I really like is all of the little things they have as well. I once spent more than 6 hours searching every store I could think of for a nut that would fit on the back of a keg shank, and ended up having to make one, they have them on the shelf every day. The other thing I love is that Dry Dock is right next door so after you do your homebrew shopping, you can stop by and try their new beers.

This is were I do the majority of my brew day shopping. Great selection, good pricing and a staff that is always willing to help if you ask them. I especially like go over to the Dry Dock brewery right next store to have a pint or two of insiration while I am there. Their grain bins are set really nicely with everything clearly labeled with pricing and info about the grains. Plus they have way too many trinkets that can get any homebrewer in trouble. This is the place to get all your shopping done on brew day!

I bought my first homebrew kit here and have been a loyal customer ever since. The staff is incredibly helpful and they know what they're talking about. Steve is a great beer judge and is always happy to taste and offer suggestions. They have a wide selection of malts and yeasts compared to the few other places I've checked out. Get on their mailing list and every month you'll receive a card with a beer recipe (all ingredients 10% off) and a coupon for 15% off any hardware item. They have wine making supplies, but I've never made wine myself. The homebrewer's nights are a lot of fun. Everyone brings in whatever they've been brewing and even the owner, Kevin, will bring in some of his own homebrew. The look is very simple and clean, which is great because I don't want to pay extra for it to be pretty. And perhaps the best part is that it's connected to Dry Dock Brewing, also owned by Kevin. Shopping for ingredients with a beer in hand is all just part of the fun here and definitely sets this brew shop apart from others. The regular customers are very friendly and will chat for hours over a few pints. All around it's a great shop.

A small store in a shopping center in SW Aurora (Hampden and Chambers...about). As far as store design and overhead it is lacking...but that's a good thing. The low overhead and "working man's" atmosphere keeps the prices down. They have wine and beer making tools, kits, books, accessories, etc. Nice selection of yeasts and grains, malt extracts, and adjuncts. Could use some more bottling options, but that's a minor issue. Staff was helpful and informed.
This store is connected to the Dry Dock Brewery, so it's off to the bar...

EDIT: Update since they moved upon DD's expansion. Seems they've added more stuff, or maybe just rearranged. This is THE stop for brewing supplies in Denver
