Bottle from the brewery, 650ml into a tulip. Bottled January 18, 2013.
Hazy golden yellow, white head with a nice lacing a nice film of retention. Nose is all Nelson Sauvin, some white wine, lightly dank, juicy fruity notes underneath with mildly tropical zest leanings. Lightly herbal and leafy character. Very gentle pale malt notes, some sweetness. Taste is an excellent extension of the nose, and again embodies the Nelson Sauvin hop. White wine, leafy, dank and juicy fruit character. Some onion. Very mild sweet malt character. Medium feel, no alcohol. Very moderate bitterness. An excellent single hop beer, I would cream myself if they did a double IPA version of this.

Light golden colour, slightly hazed, one finger of white head, dense with lots of lace. Smell is of sharp tropical fruits, citrusy and a bit of dank earthy pine but mostly vibrant fruity hops, a bit of cracker like malt, lemony with some grapefruit. Taste is quite hoppy with lots of tropical fruits, grapefruit and sharp lemon rind, malty mid palate into the finish, really well balanced between dank fruits and malt, never seems too bitter, drying. Medium dry carbonation, medium feel, dryness makes this feel a touch on the higher end of carbonation for the style. Just awesome, really flavourful and just a joy to drink, would like to see this one pop up again.

On-tap at Bellwoods during their "IPA Extravaganza"
Beer is a cloudy golden-orange. Good sized white head, decent retention.
Smell is nice, and full of tropical fruit. Papaya and melon. Also some grassy, herbal notes.
Great taste. Lots of tropical fruit- melon, papaya, mango. Grassy and a bit herbal. Moderately bitter. Quite juicy. Really a nice flavour and a good showcase of the Nelson Sauvin hop, which I find to be very distinctive.
Medium bodied, moderate to high carbonation level.
Overall, very good! Tasty stuff. My favourite of the series thus far.

Bottle to tulip. Bottled on Jan 18, 2013.
A - Medium yellow, golden around the edges. A thin layer of bright white head formed and receded to a few scattered bubbles.
S - Pine, musky and grassy aromas accompany a light bitterness with a sweet caramel malt backing.
T - Moderate bitterness with piney, grassy and musky flavours. Sweet caramel malt backbone provides decent balance.
M - Light to medium body with a nice chew. Moderate carbonation. Lots of sticky hop oils.

A decent IPA level of bitterness. Deep yellow, with generous lasting head. Not the Nelson hop taste from the Brooklyn collaboration or other versions that gave a white wine fruity complexity. Not astringent but rather bold up front hoppyness. Bottle from the brewery, thanks for hooking me up John.
