Feels like this was the original from which every other adjunct American macro lager was Xeroxed & Xeroxed & Xeroxed.
Crystal clear & golden with a nice bit of quickly dissipating head.
Malty grains in the nose with a sort of hay-ness that crosses over into the first sip. Crisp with bitter tea-like astringency and and a little peachy. I feel like the constellations of ingredients are aligned in this Kölsch perfectly. Wish I could find it in 6 packs.

Bright pale golden color with great clarity and a bright white head. Grainy nose with some earthy hop.
Lighter bodied brisk carbonation faintly fruity upfront, Apple's pears and citrus rind, herbal earthy hop backing cuts clean and dry. Nice malt body clean and crisp, goes well with mild cheeses.

Surprisingly amazed at how tasty and smooth this beer is. Any BMC drinker would be completely blown away by Reissdorf Kolsch because it's somewhat similar to the flavors found in your typical cheapo Adjunct Lager, but a million times better. T
The richness and balance of flavor is truly superb. The color is brilliantly light yellow with a nice head, and the flavor/aroma is full of rich grain and smooth hops. High carbonation and light body. The drinkability is perfect. A very fine example of a Kolsch and really, awesome brewing in general .

11.2 oz bottle poured into a Hinterland stange.
4.8% ABV
A - Reissdorf's long-lasting rocky white head crumbles away to a pile of creamy foam leaving chunky lace adorning the glass above the crystal clear golden yellow beer.
S - Subtle hints of noble hop varieties and their light floral characteristics greet the nose in tandem with soft mineral water accents which brighten the clean pale malt base. A pinch of apricot and dried mango add just the slightest fermentation character to the finish of this Kölsch.
T - Red apple slice and juicy Bartlett pear take the nose's fruit nuances to a new level, opening the flavor with a surprising punch. The pale malt base is soft and sweet, almost more pilsner-like than grainy base malt.
M - Soft and smooth, this Kölsch almost feels like wheat is in play with it's velvety feel. It's not crisp and clean like many other varieties. Instead, it lingers with an understated dryness and moderate carbonation tickle.
O - Between the bold fruit attributes of this Kölsch and it's softer Bohemian pilsner-like feel, this Kölsch exemplifies the difference each brewery has for this style but I personally enjoy the more crisp, clean versions a little more.

Half Litre bottle, poured into pint glass.
A: Golden colour, clear, one finger head which didn't hang around too long. Looked lively.
S: Chardonay and cork, more hop content than other Koelschs.
T: Grape, wine gum, rubber, less bitterness than some Koelschs, wheaty finish.
M: Crisp texture, light body, well carbonated.
O: Hard to find fault, balanced, crisp, reasonable depth.
