beautiful deep amber orange color with the slightest bit of haze. creamy, thick head with a good retention (i waited for a full minute before i gave up and drank through it.) the subsequent lace on the glass was crazy! in the nose i caught some floral notes, bold citrus and a touch of pineapple. a deep sip revealed bold hops with no astringency whatsoever, balanced grapefruit and this tantalizing little hints of pineapple with out it being too sweet. there are those interesting little notes of spice from the belgian yeast that compliment the citrus of this beer so well. i loved how the hops are very evident but don't overpower the other flavors of the beer. the belgian yeast seems to add a nice smooth finish to this beer, making it a lot more drinkable than some of other IPAs around the same IBU. the mouth feel was pure velvet, full but not heavy. very much enjoyed this beer!! my new favorite IPA by far!

look: 4.75 | smell: 4.75 | taste: 5 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 5
Appearance:
Slightly hazy Bright orange with fluffy lasting head that has a Death-Grip for lacing
Aroma:
Hop forward with citrus, tangerine & pineapple notes. Underlying notes of Belgian spice. Very rich and floral
Taste:
Nice BIG hop hit but super balanced. The Citrus fruit from the aroma is right up front with the Belgian spice and a subtle malt backbone.
Palate/Mouthfeel:
Rich and velvety, Smooth and nicely carbonated
Overall:
This is a sexy, dangerous beer that is WAY too easy drinking for its 8.2% ABV. New "go to" IPA.

Served in a pint glass at the grand opening.
Very clear orange-golden color with a nice thick white lingering head that left a wonderful lace.
Aroma is spicy resiny citrus and very hop forward. The taste is exceptional. Big hit of the resiny hops but nothing even approaching astringency. Superbly balanced by both the malt and the Belgian yeast. The yeast is present throughout but doesn't dominate or overpower either the malt or the big hop hit. The mouthfeel is pretty big but balanced by the carbonation. Rhis is my new favorite IPA.
I'm drinking this till they ask me to leave.

Thanks to Chris and Sarah for bringing back this treat. Poured into straight pint glass. Poured a cloudy orange color with over a half-inch of of off-white head that had very good retention and lacing.
The aroma had a nice yeast scent upfront, a good grain base, a bit of spice and a light fruitiness. There was just a bit of citrus and floral hops in the nose as well. The flavors started out the same, the beer had a distinct Tripelish taste, but then the hops kicked in and the beer really perked up. The yeast really meshed very well with citrusy hops, and there was definitely a nice bite on the finish.
The body was very good, full, yet not heavy, and had a nicely dry finish. Drinkability was great, if this were available to me regularly, I would have it my starting rotation. Overall, a very fine brew. Hopefully we can sweet talk these guys into sending some beer over to us on the Wet Side of the Cascades. A must try if you see it.
