This India Pale Ale is an oldie but goodie. Floral and piney hops rise from a crisp nose, with strong notes of caramunich and caramel malts. The perfect pairing for any meal!

[Original rating 2015-06-12] Pours clear dark gold with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus, earth, stone fruit. Taste is bitter hops with malt in the middle, bitter finish. Not bad but not what I look for in an IPA.

A bit much carbonation, but good taste

Copper and clear, good thick foamy beige head that leaves a pretty nice bit of lacing. Nose is pretty well balanced between the caramel malt sweetness and a slightly earthy, little spicy hop bitterness. Taste follows along with the nose almost perfectly as the sweetness peels away, leaving an olive leaning bitter. Crisp overall with just a bit of lingering bitterness on the tongue. It's almost exactly what I would expect from a well crafted English style IPA.
