Pours a clear gold with a white head.

Light bready malt nose.

Grassy malt flavor with mild hop and a slight citrus sweetness.

Medium to light body with soft carbonation.

This is maybe what their sky blue should be. A good enjoyable light sessionable ale with some but not too much flavor, so it goes down easy. Nothing award winning here but you sure could throw a few of these back without a problem.

On cask at the brewpub on 3/3/12.

Poured a bright orange with a big, soft, creamy head that had great retention. The nose was heavy citrus; orange peel and grapefruit. The flavor was grassy and citrusy with big notes of grapefruit and orange peel. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and smooth with very little carbonation.

This was incredibly drinkable. The orange notes that came throughout this beer made me feel like I was drinking something that had orange juice added. But strangely, it worked and with the lighter bodied and smooth balance, this was incredibly drinkable. It would make a great summer beer.

Poured much deeper than expected,a clear rich bronze with a tight formed i/2 finger white head.citrusy hops and caramle malts in the nose, neither win out aromas wise.A good shot of citric hops overtop of the caramel base in the flavor profile, the hops are pretty brash and I really enjoyed that.I could drink more than a few of these at the Durham Bulls game wich this beer is intended for.

On-tap at Flying Saucer on 6/27/10 and reviewed from notes. Served in a standard pint glass a crisp orange with a quickly diminishing head. Aroma is mild citrus hops. The taste is mild citrus hops in front of sweet malts, nice balance for the style. The beer is light, crisp and refreshing. This is an enjoyable summer brew, one I could certainly see myself sipping in the stands at a ballgame.
