Poured into a St. Feuillien goblet. Pours a hazy orange amber with a fine, one finger white head with good retention and lacing. Interesting aroma of stone fruit and orange juice, light bready yeast; spicy with an odd agave component. One of the more intriguing tripel aroma I've experienced. Flavor follows with apricot, orange, lime and apple juice, light bready yeast and hints of coriander and clove. Medium bodied with nice carbonation. A very fruit forward tripel with nice balance. Not as intense as some other Belgian tripels, but a nice complex fruit body that is quite enjoyable. Finish has tripel spicing and light hops, but pleasant residual stone fruit flavors as well. Oddly, the flavor seems to become more bland as glass sits and warms. However, I will return to this tripel again.

A: Clear filtered golden with slight Chinese gold tinge, 2 fingers of white head that faded relatively fast. Medium low carbonation, little appearance of lacing that doesn’t cling to glass.
S: Fresh fruit, fresh peaches straight from the orchard, Belgian yeasts, coke.
T: Peaches, Beligan yeasts, the bite of blue cheese without the stinkiness, long bitter linger near the end. Sweet Peach, then in between the Belgian sting of sharp cheese, ending in dull bitterness. These 3 play equally, in this order.
M: Medium body, medium carbonation.
O: A nice tripel, sweet bottle is awesome like a rennaisance painting. Having this one leading up to my b-day celebration, after waiting 6 months to purchase it.

300 ml
Pours a mostly clear wheat gold with over two inches of puffy white head. Dissipates slowly to a lacing.
Smells of slight honey and notable grassy malts, a bit of citrus and coriander as well.
Flavor is of honey and citrus with some mild grape fruitiness and a base of grassy malts. Maybe some cloves in there.
Full body with fluffy carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
Pretty solid Belgian trippel, enjoyable and worth trying, but I have had a few trippels that are much better than this. The flavor is great, but compared to the Chimay white or Westmalle's trip, it falls just barely short. Still, an otherwise awesome beer.

Serving glass: Poured from tap into proper St, Feuillien mini-snifter.
Appearance: Hazy honey with decent cream colored head.
Smell: No idea what this smells like. Oddly sweet with strange spices and herbs.
Taste: Oh God, it tastes like it smells, so I guess I have to try harder to describe it. Sticky, semi-rotten fruit at the core, with a cornucopia of spice flavors, including rosemary, clove, lavender, and licorice. Light banana. Beyond weird.
Feel: Moderately high carbonation, with a relatively light body. Semi-dry.
Overall: Simply a very strange Tripel that I mostly enjoyed despite my inability to describe it.

From corked bottle.
Served in tall St Feuillien Grand Cru beer flute.
Aroma of sweet malts, purple queen magnolia flowers, and field grains.
Significant carbonation and mouthfeel.
Flavors of bitter funky fruits, candy sugar, rosemary and similar herbs, chardonnay white wine...ooh, better give this a few minutes...
Ah...still a small head and lace, bright floral aromas, and the taste has smoothed out...oh yes, a few minutes to let this breath is well worth the time. While there's still a small bitter bite, this has overall mellowed out into a lovely triple...rich but not offensive, flavorful but not too complex, sweet, floral or spicy.
I'll admit I've been to this brewery and pretty much love the whole line-up. The beers have a great balance and the yeast is wonderful in that there's really no offensive esters...similar to St Bernardus, Val-Dieu and Allagash.

The Tripel itself pours just like you'd expect. Cloudy light orange with a fluffy and creamy white head. Inviting aroma of lemon, coriander, and yeast. Very aggressive and spicy hops come up first. A punch from the carbonation, too. This initial kick gives way to the familiar banana and yeast of a tripel. Some of the best lacing I've ever seen. Lingering and dry finish.
Perhaps not the most amazing Tripel I've had, but it's quite good.
