12oz bottle kindly sent to me by grub, I'm pretty excited about this one. Poured into a tulip glass.
Pours a murky peach-orange colour, nearly opaque with what seems to be a pretty zippy carbonation. A full inch of head subsides quickly, but retains well and leaves some nice lacing. Typical aroma for a witbier, but pretty amped up. Coriander, clove, citrus zest, pepper, clover honey, and a dash of something meatier and earthy, like sage. Smells real tasty.
Whooeee, that's an intense one. Spicy and peppery right up front, and the alcohol drives it straight to the nose. Coriander, orange peel, vanilla, lemon, clove, earth, herbs, and an aftertaste that's distinctly like tapioca pudding. Each sip seems to offer something new, or a familiar flavour you try to put your finger on. Pretty intense. Medium-full-bodied, zippy carbonation, but not overly so. Dry and spicy finish. Drinkable, maybe too much, the 9% is really easy to forget. This is a very cool beer that I'm glad to have tried.

Thanks for this one, Derek.
The beer is hazy orange in color with a small white head. Strong aromas of orange peel and coriander come through. It’s decently bready, but also fairly stale. Really not much left to the aroma. The same can be said of the flavor. Stale sugar and bread with a hint of toast. The orange peel and coriander are really the only saving graces to this beer. Sort of lifeless in terms of the mouthfeel as well.
