Poured into a pint glass. Beer was refridgerated. Drank at around 40 degrees.
Pours a dark brown, nearly black. Head was weak even with a somewhat agressive pour. Maybe 1/2 a finger of light brown head. Actually ended up leaving some lacing.
No surprises in the aroma for me. Roasted Chocolate malts and some light cherry notes pushing through.
Tastes like it smells. Chocolate malts with a hint of cherry. I feel it could go just a little stronger on the cherry flavor.
Overall I found this brew enjoyable and wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again.
