Pours a golden straw yellow, slightly cloudy, with a nice white head that holds up well and leaves lovely maze-like lacing.

Smell is very faint, even as the beer warms up. Main smells I get are ripe wheat, a bit of hops, and a touch of yeast. The smell, like the taste, is warm and clean.

Tastes warm, crisp, and clear. Starts out quite grainy, in a pleasant way. A nice gentle hop flavor/bitterness comes in late and lingers through the clean finish. Overall, it's very smooth and pleasant, though it doesn't have a ton of depth or complexity.

Body is medium-light, with above-average carbonation. Stays in the mouth for just as long as I want it to, then finishes crisp and clean.

A very good summer session beer. Refreshing, clean and crisp, with a nice dry finish.

Poured a golden straw murky color with one finger of gray head that dissipated fairly quickly. Sporadic spots of thick lacing along the sides. Average-to-bad retention on the top.

Smelled honey, lemon grass, cereal, wheat grass and corn. A bit grainy overall.

Tasted much smoother than the smell. Got honey, wheat, lemon grass, cereal and some pale ale characteristics with a cleaner finish.

Light body. Thin-to-oily texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Abrupt, watery, smooth finish.

A pretty good beer for the style. Nice for the summer. Happy to see Bell’s!
