Solid wheat beer, to me it's not one of the top beers in the style, but it's for sure a very solid one i wouldn't hesitate to buy a 6er of to take to a friends house to grill or hang out with.

Hazy golden sun color, white thin band around edge, citrusy with a very slight yeasty character, but the orange is forefront and standout. mouth feel has medium carbination and a slightly viscious consistancy, very drinkable during the summer months but not appealing to me during the other 6, and this is one of the few beers id rather drink chilled then room temperature.

Poured a golden straw murky color with one finger of gray head that dissipated fairly quickly. Sporadic spots of thick lacing along the sides. Average-to-bad retention on the top.

Smelled honey, lemon grass, cereal, wheat grass and corn. A bit grainy overall.

Tasted much smoother than the smell. Got honey, wheat, lemon grass, cereal and some pale ale characteristics with a cleaner finish.

Light body. Thin-to-oily texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Abrupt, watery, smooth finish.

A pretty good beer for the style. Nice for the summer. Happy to see Bell’s!
