A: Dark straw, almost golden with a thin, quickly dissipating head that shows traces of carbonation bubbles

S: Spicy yeast, lemon, orange aromas dominate the nose

T/M: Intense wheat character with a liberal amount of fruit aromas, predominately lemon and orange. The appears to be a bit of hop bitterness on the finish, but it is very mild and overpowered by the other characteristics. Very tasty beer.

D: Very high: The crisp flavor and low ABV make Oberon one of the most delicious and sessionable summer beers I've ever had. Very highly recommended!

Poured a golden straw murky color with one finger of gray head that dissipated fairly quickly. Sporadic spots of thick lacing along the sides. Average-to-bad retention on the top.

Smelled honey, lemon grass, cereal, wheat grass and corn. A bit grainy overall.

Tasted much smoother than the smell. Got honey, wheat, lemon grass, cereal and some pale ale characteristics with a cleaner finish.

Light body. Thin-to-oily texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Abrupt, watery, smooth finish.

A pretty good beer for the style. Nice for the summer. Happy to see Bell’s!
