On tap at Monkish Brewing Company in Torrance, CA.
Pours a clear dark orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, wheat, and an herbal thyme aroma. Taste is much the same with a distinct thyme flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a really interesting thyme presence in the smell and taste.

On-tap at Beachwood I,
A: Pours a translucent red-brown, with a medium off-white head, limited lace.
S: Sweet malt, BSDA, lots of candi-type sugar, raisins, plum.
T: Hint of prune with a real nice wheat malt flavour. Nice brown bread flavours. A light hint of banana and estery flavours, hard to find the thyme.
M: Crisp, not overdone in an American-Belgo style, elegant, medium-bodied overall.
O: A well made wheat beer with a nice complexity. Another good beer from Monkish.
