Finally got to this small shop that has brightened the corner of an up-and-coming part of Brussels for close to a year. A very small space, sleekly industrial, hip music playing, blissfully free of breweriana, glassware or such. The selection is small but well chosen, with around 200 of mostly rotating selections built around standbys like Cantillon, Rulles, De Dolle. Besides Belgians, there are Americans (Stone, Rogue), English (St. Peter), Scottish, Danish (To Øl), French (Mont des Cats), Dutch (De Molen), Canadians, Italians... also some cross-border collaborations like Mikkeller-3 Floyds. The point is not geographic spread but interesting stock, with lots of new Belgians. Very friendly and helpful guy, happy to engage in discussion and recommendations. (Francophone, didn't ask if he speaks English.) On the value front, I graded it as reasonable relative to what I've seen elsewhere, not a lot of hard research. I saw 1.60 euros for single bottles of old-school Belgian ales like Ichtegem, up to 9 euros for a big Mikkeller. I stand ready to be corrected.
