My friend lives in Wash Park so we decided to check this place out. We got there ten minutes before they were open (unknowingly). The men inside saw us waiting, but ignored us until 2 o'clock on the dot. When we sat down, my friend asked if there was anything new on tap, and the person running the taps responded with a sarcastic "I don't know, you tell me?" After my friend asked for the brown ale, the bartender again was edgy and said something along the lines of, "I think you are asking for Death Ripper" (which was described as a brown ale on their tap list). I ordered a flight of everything. The man looked upset that he had to pour me samples of every beer, and his body language was very negative. It really just made us feel unwelcome. The place was also very dark. The smoked tea saison was good, and it stood out to me the most. I also enjoyed a stout that was being offered. Our overall experience was lowered due to the service, but I am interested to see how their barrel aging goes and would like to eventually revisit with a new perspective.

Stopped with a friend for a flight. Flavor profiles were satisfactory but mouth feel was a little on the thin watery side. Dug the metal aspects of the place, artwork and of course the music. I am unaware if there was any food available. This place is new, so I might revisit later if new breweries ever stop popping up in Denver.

Very small nano brewery. Good enough selection. 8 beers on tap.
Very dark. Heavy metal theme. Metal blasting out of the speakers behind the bar. Black walls.
Walked right past it. Not very visable.
Cool place. Maybe 20 feet across and 200 feet long.
Tunnel of Trees ipa, Hellion, and the Atma strong ale all good beers. Only ones I tried.
Overall cool place. If your in the area might as well check it out. A unique brewery for sure!

If you like metal and beer, this is your place. Well hell, even if you don't like metal, you should still check it out. They're making some of the best beer in Denver.
VERY loud at times. Service is usually great and the place doesn't fill up that often.
Glad I live within walking distance.

A small place from the outside, but quite long and narrow once you're in. The very long table in the front area is one piece...quite impressive. Bar is along the right side down a bit, under the speakers, which play some blend of thrash and gothic metal. While not really my style, it was fine as I sat at the long table...away from said speakers.
Cool atmosphere, albeit a bit bare, but it takes away the busy Broadway traffic quite well. A garage door opens and serves as a big window. A small bar table blocks passage.
Not a bad selection of beers. I had the flight of 7 for $8, only two did I not finish. Others were solid.
No food. Didn't know if they had an area for food trucks or not, but Broadway has eateries close by

I was a bit torn on this rating.
Beer: extremely good beer. For only being open for such a short while they have the kinks worked out.
Beer availability: there were only 5 tappings at the time of our visit. I wish they had more of the beers listed on their website. I'm sure with time they'll figure out what is needed when and this won't be an issue.
Service: The barkeep was nice, but didn't go out of his way to help us. A gal came in after us and sat down at the tables. She was pretty much ignored by the barkeep until she moved to the bar. He kept checking his phone and play list blaring over the speakers. More on that below.
Overall: The place isn't lit from the outside so you need to know where you're going. Inside the place looks awesome. Slick wood bar and table. The decor is beyond what you would expect. The only negatives I really had, and these were big, the barkeep needed to interact more with the patrons and turn down the music so people could hear themselves think. Just when the music quieted it was turned up. The experiences I've had at other breweries is that the staff loves talking it up with the patrons about beer or what have you. This place didn't lend itself to that at all.
As I was rereading this before posting the lights were turned way down making it hard to see. Maybe they're going for a nightclub feel. Not exactly my style.
I'll definitely be back because the beer is really good and I'm hoping the experience will be better the next go around.
If they are going for a place different from other breweries by being a bit more edgy they are hitting it. Time will tell.

Any place that is blasting High on Fire for the entire time I am there is an automatic winner from the get go for me. A pretty to the bones joint, a bar and a long, communal bench make up the seating area, no board listing the beer or prices, a bit too dark (could use a little more lighting), some cool photographs/posters hanging on the walls, and metal blasting from the stereo. Quality of the beer as very solid - especially for a newish place -, the styles offered unique and interesting, but not too many options available. Worse the one beer I was most excited to try had tapped the night prior. Ended up being okay as I probably wouldn't have otherwise tried their Belgian Pale Ale, Wanderlust, which ended up being my favorite beer I tried from them. Priced very fairly. Overall, I wish this place had been around when I lived in that area as this place is right up my alley.

so sweet. pronounced true, this place just opened on broadway and is really neat. long narrow dimly lit place with dark artwork on the walls and servers dressed in black. its got aggressive scandanavian metal music playing real loud, and is definitely a small batch brewery. there was three beers on, all of which were original and outstanding. the selection is supposed to expand over the coming months, and i hope it does. the beers were world class by any standards. the hollow idol india white ale and the prehistoric dog salted wheat were both superb and unlike others ive had. the service was friendly and the place was fairly busy on a friday early evening. no food, but food trucks outside. prices were fair and the decor was cool inside. will likely attract a bit of an esoteric crowd moving forward due to the music selection, but it was right on for me, and i cant wait to go back. im still longing for another slug of that salted wheat brew.
