this is another epic brew from the new true brewing on broadway. it is a salted wheat beer, brewed in the gose style with carbon rich hawaiian sea salt. it pours a thick hazy pale blonde color with some serious viscosity for such a light beer. the head is an inch tall, bone white, and permanent. the beer smells very fresh on the wheat malts, heavier and unfiltered, but it has a sort of earthy sting to the nose, not exactly akin to ocean water, but a wimilar vibe. the flavor is to die for. its salty and sweet up front, almost like a fresh salted caramel. the salt is subtle, but vibrant and unmistakable. it playes perfectly with the spice from the yeast and the heavy wheat malts here. it just continues to evolve in the mouth and finishes dry and crackly, already ready for another gulp before its all the way down. ive never had a beer like this, and i think this is a gold medal worthy brew, really. its got everything, its super creative, and its an oddity in perfect balance. the feel is great, thicker for a beer this light, and plenty of bubbles. i wouldnt change a thing about it, and im still hanging for another pint. please someone else review this and confirm how good it really is! i dont want to be alone on this island...
