First had: on tap at TH
Closer to what one might call a "traditional" saison, this beer poured a nice golden-yellow with a small white head that sank to a wispy layer of bubbles. Funky, dank, barnyard aroma, lesser pulpy citrus notes. The funk was still present in the taste, but toned down a bit, balanced with a tart peachy flavor, touch of candied orange peel, lemongrass, and baseline of peppery spice; mild toasted grains. Body was about medium, soft but lightly acidic mouthfeel, tasty and complex.

One of the more enjoyable saisons ive had from Tired Hands. Bright and clear with almost no head on it. I really loved the funky, slightly sour smell. It smells more sour than it really is, which isnt a negative as if it was really that sour I dont think I would have enjoyed it nearly as much. I am normally not a huge saison fan, but this one really impressed me and I would happily order again.
