64 oz. growler poured into a wine glass.

Appearance - Lots of grapefruit hops. Smells like simcoe, but with some citrus to balance it. A little bit of grain. No sweetness.

Taste - Aggresive hops again. Juicy grapefruit. More bright citrus than the simcoe elements. A touch of grain. Just enough malt sweetness keeps the bitterness at bay.

Mouthfeel - Dry and medium bodied. Moderate bitterness.

Overall - This is great. Simple, clean, and a total hop bomb.

Pineal from Tired Hands. Picked up a 16 fl oz can from Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA, 19/08/25 - $ 6.00/can (including tax) - $ 0.379/fl oz. Reviewed 05/09/25 (Review 3578). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Bottom of can stamped “07/10/2025.” Stored at home at 40 degrees F. Served at 43.8 degrees F in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. The final temperature is 51.8 degrees F.
Appearance – 4
First pour – Pale Straw (SRM 3), hazy.
Body – Straw (SRM 4), opaque. Under direct light, same. When rear-lite, same.
Head – Large (Maximum 3.7 cm, aggressive center pour). White, high density, short retention, leaving a 0.8 cm crown and a thick complete cap. A separate band of lacing remains about a centimeter above the torn curtain remnants of the collapsing head.
Lacing – Good. Multiple bands of tiny to small bubbles, connected by short, chunky columns. See also above.
Aroma – 3 – Basically none. No malt, no hops, no alcohol.
Flavor – 3.25 – Slightly bitter with floral hints. No alcohol (6 % ABV, according to BA, can is not marked). No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. No gastric warming.
Palate – 3 – Medium: Approaching creamy: Soft carbonation.
Style: Follows the style guidelines as condensed by BA.
Final impression and summation: 3 Uncredited label artist. Distinctly NOT an eye-opener. Supposedly made with honey and oats – generally innocuous flavor and aroma. So flavorless there’s no reason to drink it.

Pours an opaque lemon color with a good sized, frothy head. Aroma is fairly neutral to me - but definitely not off-putting.

Big, bold and dank hop flavor is quite pleasing. Medium mouthfeel feels good on the palate. Pretty tasty beer and worth picking up.
