32oz growler poured into a stemless wine glass.
Pours a very light golden color, hues of light straw and lemon, clear with just a slight chill haze. A soft, cloudy white head rises out of the glass, about a finger or so high that has good retention and leaves behind a nice amount of soapy lacing. The aroma nice, albeit soft and rather light. Juicy tropical fruit, layered floral notes, freshly mowed grass with some sweet honey and pale grain. The aroma reminds me a of a scented lotion or soap, but not necessarily in a bad way. The flavors are a bit earthier, lots of lemongrass and herby floral notes, lightly fruity hops with a touch of pine, a bit soapy, sweet honey, lots of pale grain. The body is really nice, it's light and easy, great carbonation, really helps translate the flavors onto the tongue, coats the mouth well with a lightly dry finish that isn't too bitter and is quite refreshing.
Verdict: Simply put, a yummy pale ale from Tired Hands. This was a great growler to split with my family over a nice dinner and compliments food very well. While the flavors aren't overwhelming, this definitely fits the bill for a nice thirst quenching pale ale.

4oz taster pour
Enjoyed on 2/28/13
A: Hazy bright yellow/orange color. There is literally a pillow of bright white on too of this beer, ala a nitro pour. Lingers the majority of the sip. Leaves nice lacing.
S: Nice soft citrus hop aroma here. Slight breadiness. Smells like a nice hoppy pale ale.
T: Taste follows the nose. A VERY light and easy drinking hopped up pale ale. Nice citrus hop bitterness. Light malt bill to help balance it out. Crisp dry close. Very sessionable.
M: It's a very light medium, because of the grain bill.

On draft at the source.
The beer is light golden with a small white head. Citrus, hops, honey, light sweet. Flavor is refreshing and tasty. A hint of sweetness balanced by hop bitterness. Mild honey character is elegantly done. Light in body with some citrus and hops lingering in the finish. A solid beer from Tired Hands.

First had: on tap at the brewpub
Slightly hazy, golden-yellow pour, with a large, fluffy, white head that receded to a thin layer and left some lacing behind. Fresh, flowery hop aroma, citrusy, grassy, notes of malt and honey sweetness. The taste reflected the aroma well, a pleasant mixture of hops, with a crisply sweet malt backbone to balance out the hop bitterness. Maybe not too distinctive from other TH beers, but as far as I can tell, that's not a bad thing. Light body, crisp and quite drinkable.

on tap at the brewpub
Hazy, glowing golden yellow pour with a two-finger crop of white head perched on top. Lasting retention with frothy patches of lacing left on the glass.
Fragrant, yet delicate hop aroma with soft bitterness, citrus and cut grass. Slightly floral, lemon peel and light acidity with biscuit malt base.
Kiss of lemony hops with citric peel and cut grass. Softly floral with a mix of sweetness and bitterness. Mild doughy malt backbone with lingering lemon peel, spice and dryness.
Medium body, decent carbonation, creamy and dry on the tongue. This is one of the more delicate and softer profiles I've seen lately at TH, but this really worked for me thanks to an impressive amount of finesse.

This poured out as a clear looking golden color with a fluffy white head on top. The lacing is pretty good on this beer as well as a good thin retention on top. The smell of the beer gives off some nice hoppy aromas as well as some subtle grass and malt on the nose too. The taste of the beer is pretty good, it's got a good bitterness to it as well as a sweetness to balance it all out. The mouthfeel of the beer is drinkable, light bodied and easy going from start to finish. It's got a good sharp clean finish to it also. Overall it's a good brew and definitely worth trying.
