Presentation: 1L swingtop growler chilled and poured into my Hill Farmstead stemware. Huge thanks to Centennial for this great surprise.
Appearance: Medium orange to dark yellow in color. A bit cloudy throughout. Pours a one finger white fizzy head that doesn't hold for long.
Aroma: Mango, tropical fruits and a nice burst of orange zest and juice. Really nice balance of fresh citrus, fruity hops, and some mild bitterness.
Taste: Orange juice and orange zest tones upfront cut through the big fruity hops. The hops are not overly strong at this point but that allows the citrus to really stand out. A slightly bitter aftertaste and light, dry finish. Really tasty.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a burst of carbonation upfront. The acid from the citrus really seems to reduce the carbonation level in this hoppy citrus brews.
Overall, another great offering from Tired Hands. The citrus is really bright and complemented by the hop character. Really well done and nicely balanced. A really refreshing beer.

Pours a pale golden color, much lighter than anticipated. Smell is strong citrus with a bit of the pale malt poking through.
Taste - I get some nice citrus fruits and crackery malt with almost a wheaty charactersitic to it. If I did not know that there was clementine juice and zest in this, I certainly would never have guessed it. I have had plenty of other APAs that have more citrus characterstic than this brew.
Overall, delicate is the word that comes to mind. This is not a beer to drink with heavy food, as the balanced characeristic would easily be overpowered by whatever you were eating.
In the end, a bit underwhelming. Perhaps my expectations were a tad high, or perhaps I just prefer brews with more intense flavors. If this were available in a reasonably priced six pack I would have an interest in picking it up again, but I would certainly never pay $25 for a growler again ($20 for the beer, $5 for the growler).
