Presentation: 1L swingtop growler chilled and poured into my Hill Farmstead stemware. Huge thanks to Centennial for this great surprise.
Appearance: Medium orange to dark yellow in color. A bit cloudy throughout. Pours a one finger white fizzy head that doesn't hold for long.
Aroma: Mango, tropical fruits and a nice burst of orange zest and juice. Really nice balance of fresh citrus, fruity hops, and some mild bitterness.
Taste: Orange juice and orange zest tones upfront cut through the big fruity hops. The hops are not overly strong at this point but that allows the citrus to really stand out. A slightly bitter aftertaste and light, dry finish. Really tasty.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a burst of carbonation upfront. The acid from the citrus really seems to reduce the carbonation level in this hoppy citrus brews.
Overall, another great offering from Tired Hands. The citrus is really bright and complemented by the hop character. Really well done and nicely balanced. A really refreshing beer.

Pours a pale golden color, much lighter than anticipated. Smell is strong citrus with a bit of the pale malt poking through.
Taste - I get some nice citrus fruits and crackery malt with almost a wheaty charactersitic to it. If I did not know that there was clementine juice and zest in this, I certainly would never have guessed it. I have had plenty of other APAs that have more citrus characterstic than this brew.
Overall, delicate is the word that comes to mind. This is not a beer to drink with heavy food, as the balanced characeristic would easily be overpowered by whatever you were eating.
In the end, a bit underwhelming. Perhaps my expectations were a tad high, or perhaps I just prefer brews with more intense flavors. If this were available in a reasonably priced six pack I would have an interest in picking it up again, but I would certainly never pay $25 for a growler again ($20 for the beer, $5 for the growler).

A: very light pastel yellow in color. Slightly hazy. Forms a moderate bright white foamy head. Good retention. Copious amounts of lacing. Sheeting really.
S: Very aromatic. Full on hops. Sweet, citrusy, orange. Biscuit malts.
T: Taste is light, but fairly nuanced. Biscuit malts, orange zest and a bit of lemon. Citrusy. Low to mld bitterness. Clean finish.
M: light bodied. Crisp. Heavier carbonation. Low to mild bitterness.
O: this is a very nice beer. There is a lot going on for a lighter style beer.

Thanks, YaKnowBrady!
A very pretty pale ale. A hazy golden and light yellow. Lighter in color than I anticipated. This leaves the glass just covered in irregular spiderwebs and lines of sticky, creamy lace. Very, very pretty pale ale.
The aroma, like with many of American's finest fresh pale ales, is it's best attribute. A complex but welcoming and bright citrus layer meld well with tropical notes. There is, without a doubt, a bit of grain coming through in the aroma as well, but it seems to be a very well rounded, earthy, and floral note, as opposed to a bready sweetness. Bright and citrus-forward, though I wouldn't call it pungent.
The flavor is nearly as good as the aroma. Low bitterness, except there is a welcoming wave of bitterness on the swallow. Tropical and citrus fruits. I want to say I get a touch of a wheat addition, but I might be mistaken. Citrus zest and juice are present.
The flagship of this beer: light and crisp, yet full, coating, and disappearing, strangely. Bitter zest finish. Love it.
The type of beer I would kill to have a keg of at home.

Received this one in a trade with acurtis. Huge thanks Alan! Poured from a 32 oz. growler into a tulip glass.
A - Pours a beautiful light yellow with a one and a half finger head. Not incredibly carbonated but definitely enough. Nice and hazy, with ridiculous lacing.
S - Incredibly grassy & fruity. Smells incredibly fresh, like it was bottled only yesterday! Juicy & enticing.
T - Damn, this is smooth. Lots of sweet orange & lemon, balanced with the perfect amount of hop bitterness. Way too drinkable!
M - Medium bodied, with a good amount of carbonation. Slightly drying, which only makes me want to drink this like it's a race.
O - Beautiful beer, and incredibly juicy & drinkable. My first brew from Tired Hands & I'm already a fan -- must get more... Thanks again Alan!
