First had: on tap at the brewpub
Hazy, golden-amber pour, with a frothy white head that retained well and laced the glass. Caramel malts in the nose with a nice balance of grassy hops. More hoppy than you'd expect for the style, perhaps. Taste is crisp and grassy, mellow fruity sweetness with a touch of honey, bready, caramel malts, slightly bittering hop finish. Light-medium body and super drinkable. For a style I don't frequently drink, I could easily throw back a few of these in a session. Then again, it's not your typical helles.

Poured from the growler into a tasting goblet.
Appearance: Pours a clear golden amber color with a layer of off white head that fades to a ring around the pour.
Smell: This one is a bit hoppy, but there is a strong herbal presence along with the hops. The malt is just a bit fruity.
Taste: Sweet up front from the malt but then the herbal and citrus peel hops show up and boy are then nice. The finish is bitter from the hops.
Mouthfeel: The body is medium with lots of tingly carbonation and a dry finish.
Overall: This was a nice hopped up beer, but there was a good amount going on behind the bitterness. My first beer from Tired Hands but it won't be my last.

Reviewed from notes.
A - Pours golden yellow with a nice one finger tall white head, dissipating down to a light film, leaving spotty trails of lace down parts of the glass. This version is a little darker than the Pizza Boy version, probably from the direct fire system.
S - Smells of pale malt, pungent grassy hops and a dash of tropical fruit. The hops are not shy in this one. Very nice nose from start to finish. It compares quite favorably to its sister beer.
T - Stars off with an intense grassy hop bite slowly giving way to some chewy pale malt and dulled tropical fruit. Finish is a little chewy with plenty of lingering bitterness. Almost identical here as well, maybe a small difference in overall feel in favor of this version.
M - Medium-Light body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, slightly chewy feel with plenty of bitterness. This version possesses the superior feel, it is just a touch smoother.
O - I am a sucker for these hoppy lagers so I really like both of these versions. It is very easy to consume yet still very flavorful. I do like the Tired Hands version by the slightest of margins, because of its smoother more rounded taste/feel.

Thanks to Kevin for sharing.
The beer is golden and clear with a small white head. The aroma offers hops, light pine and floral notes. Nice flavor. Highly drinkable. Lingering hop and floral toes. Light to medium bodied. Another tasty brew from Tired Hands.
