a - This is likely the place you imagine when you picture a typical Minnesota watering hole - clean and friendly - a bunch of breweriana.
q - Beer quality: yikes, not much going for it here... half a dozen BMC's on tap plus Grainbelt, Summit EPA and their namesake "Red Rooster Amber" which is contract brewed by August Schell. This beer has been served at the Rooster for years and a part of me suspects that it's nearly a clone of Nordeast which is now widely distributed by Schell's. In bottles, there's nothing any more impressive. It gains a half point, though, for always keeping extremely fresh taps.
s - Excellent. Lots of super friendly waitresses that somehow manage to keep their cool when the late night crowd rolls in.
f - Very good food. If you like burgers, they are a must. Also, they have nightly specials from 75 cent tacos to steak dinners.
v - The price of the beer is typical for what it is. The food is under-priced if you ask me.
o - Overall, this is a regular spot for me. Not a beer destination but an awesome place to get some fish and chips and an EPA.
