Boda is a nice little Thai-ish restaurant in the West End of Portland, ME. Thai is not what I think of when I want a good beer place, but this restaurant is honestly a hidden gem. They have a small but fantastic selection of rotating craft brews including Allagash, Oxbow Farms, Wolavers, and Rogue (when I was there). Beer is reasonably priced.

Food is quite good. Various meat and vegetarian options are available. Tapas after 9:30 PM are half-off. It's quite delicious food as well.

Can be a bit busy in the summer as they have some open-air seating right of the Congress Street "strip." They don't take reservations.

I gave the service an average rating because on the two occasions I've been there the server has forgotten to bring an ordered soft drink to the table. But they are friendly and food comes quickly.

Overall a great place to start the night out with dinner and a fine beer, or to finish it off with some late-night tapas and one final glass of good craft.
