On tap at Cottonwood, Houston, TX

A: Pours a clear amber/red color. A one finger white head forms, and recedes in a minute. Light lace is left behind.
S: Fairly neutral to start. Slowly as this warms, some caramel malts and sweetness emerges. Pretty much sweetness with a lingering nondescript bitterness as this warms further.
T: Like the nose this starts out with a caramel malt sweetness. Some bread and biscuit. Then, again, some hoppy nondescript bitterness lingers. Light soap even.
M/D: A medium body and carbonation. Fairly smooth with a slick and soapy character. Not hard to drink. Though no much of a reason to come back often.

Like everything else from Buffalo Bayou, this is just about average in every way. While nothing is particularly bad, there is just no discernible flavors. Some sweetness and nondescript bitterness is the best I can come up with. While there are much worse available, not something I am getting often with many other great Texas breweries around.
