Hand pulled half pint in a London Wetherspoons during their autumn 2011 beer festival: this beer and I were a long way from home, both coming down to London from Shropshire.

Good golden body with an off-white crown of tight bubbles.

The aroma was a pine, citrusy hop one, no maltiness in the nose at all.

The smell came from the Citra and Saaz hops used in the brew, they also imparted their flavours into the taste, which was of semi-sour grapefruit (well almost) and hints of malts. Thirst quenching more than satisfying, but pleasant enough without being something I’d drink on a regular basis.

Light in texture and body feel, but flavoursome and easy to drink, even if I prefer malts more than citrusy hopped beers.
