Look: Poured from a twelve ounce can. It is mostly yellow with slight orange color. A one finger head disappears quickly leaving no lacing on my generic water glass.
Smell: smells mostly the malty goodness a lot of bready goodness.
Taste: Very well balance ale, tastes more like a lager actually. For session-able drinking I think the beers that are more nondescript are much easier to continue drinking. Enjoyable on a hot day.
Feel: pretty smooth, not overally carbonated. A well crafted brew. I don't think it will be a staple in my fridge but I would not turn one down.

Despite the name (like cougars drink anything but wine), I tried this at a local party store tasting, and it was quite pleasant. This isn't my preferred style, but there was some sweetness to balance the hoppy bias. Definitely one to try if you're in the Lexington, KY region.

So this one is called “Cougar Bait,” huh? Well, if that’s what it is, I’m not thinking Martha Hunt - nor am I thinking of Martha Washington though. This one is more like that ok-ish single soccer mom who bartends on weekends as a side hustle.

Giddy up.

My favorite blonde ale that I have tried so far. The 5's are based off of quality compared to others of the same style. It has a lot of flavor for a blonde ale. It is also local for me so it's findable and affordable.

Spent the past few days on vacation with my buddy from Ohio. We took a road trip to Mammoth Cave in Kentucky and this was my sixer in the hotel in Cave City. Malty in the nose with honey the big note I noticed. Agreeable finish, with some solid balance through o the aftertaste. Limited by its style, but not bad for what it is.

I'm not one of those to espouse all the looks, feels and colors of the beer. I just drink it and let you know if it's worth $12 a six-pack.
I picked the pack up at the gas station just to try something different and for $12 they can have it back. Have yet to figure out as to why craft beer people think their beer should be so damn expensive. I'll take a Miller Lite over Country Boy everyday. Oh, by the way, Cougar Bait is decent. Not great.

12oz can. Canning date is stamped on bottom rim as '08/30/21'.
Cloudy, pale gold colored body. Thin white head and cap. Leaves a few small spots of lacing.
Aroma is toasted malts and fruited honey.
Taste is flat, but expresses toasted malt, some sweetness. More of a floral hop presence. Malt in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Good carbonation.
A drinking beer when conversation is more important than paying attention to the brew. Tasty, smooth and pleasant.
