Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a Pipeworks snifter.

A- pours pitch black with a 1 finger tan head. Thick amoeba lacing covers the glass.

S- big roasted malts and coffee, along with some light pine.

T- huge roast and bitter coffee, some acidity and dark fruits. Bitter coffee and pine at the finish.

M- medium body and carbonation. Very smooth and creamy.

O- nice first attempt of a coffee stout by Pipeworks. The coffee is definitely there but is very bitter forward.

8oz Tired Hands fluted glass (consumed with friends at brewpub in Ardmore, PA)

A: Dark black. Creamy light tan head. Some alcohol feet. Not a lot of lacing. Good carb.

S: Definitely getting that coffee. More coffee grounds. Some soft vanilla. Really subdued. Chocolate, like bakers dark chocolate.

T: Sharp coffee up front. Vanilla sweetness for sure. Sweet roasted malts. Long finish.

M: Full bodied. Creamy.
