Served in a wide-mouth chalice just for fun, closest I had to the traditional Berliner Kindl Weisse glass.
Color is an electric kool-aid reddish pink, with a finger of foam that melts away quickly, fading into an island of patchy skim, and a crescent shape of bubbles clinging to the opposite side of the glass.
Tart cranberry and vague wheaty aroma, some cranberry juice.
Crisp and puckering sourness, seems a touch more intense than Blue Lady & Well Read, but in the same ballpark. Simple and clean, more tart cranberry up front, finishing dry with some fleeting aftertastes of cranberry and sourdough yeast. No off flavors to speak of. Would make a nice apertif or sunny day quencher. Made a milkshake by blending half cup of Cranpire, half cup of cranberry sauce, 3 tbsp cream cheese, and 1/2 tbsp of strawberry vanilla sugar, and it tasted like cranberry cheesecake.

Been holding onto this bottle for awhile as it was gifted to me and frankly I didnt want to open it because one of the other berliners ive had from this brewery was pretty bad. 750ml bottle into a matching Pipeworks berliner bowl. The brew appears a clear light peachy pink color with a white cap. A second pour looks like someone threw up cream corn in the glass.
The aroma has some lactic tang and pleasant fruitiness about it that isnt quite identifable but I assume it to be the cranberry inclusion.
The taste is tart with a bit of wheat and quite a bit of carbonic bite. As it warms up, it doesnt get any better, this tastes like club soda more than a berliner.
Light in body with modest carbonation. In comparison to the pipeworks blue lady berliner, this was ok. Im glad the experience is over, I dont need/want to have this again.
