Thanks to t0rin0 for sharing this one at GRG1313's tasting.
Batch # 31.
Pours a murky light red with a foamy off-white head that fades to nothing. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is sour and tart with cheesy, berry, and metallic aromas. Taste is much the same with berry and cheese flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an average beer with some pretty infected aromas and flavors.

Tasted with the group, side-by-side with the other three Pipeworks Berliners. 2/4. The pour is a lighter, ruby-red color with some amber around the edges, and maybe even the slightest blue tint all around. A weird, grey-ish, red-hued head fizzles away quickly. The aroma is that of a sweet blueberry patch, but it's quite a bit more relaxed and subdued than I would have liked. It's very mellow and surrounded by other seemingly random "berry" aromas - but the actual blueberry aromas aren't quite smacking me in the nostrils just yet.
The taste starts off with mildly tart blueberries, not really tart enough to even refer to it as "sour". The slight tartness quickly mellows out and turns into a natural sweetness. Some other fruit-like flavors I'm picking up are green apple skins, mild strawberry, and maybe even a little blackberry? Blueberry, however, is the forefront of all the fruit in the taste, and thankfully a bit more powerful that it was in the aroma. However, there seems to be something left to desire. Overall, things are still pretty mild - and while you must realize it's a Berliner-Weiss, you can (and should) still expect a little bit more than this. Thin bodied with medium-high carbonation.
In the end, this one was still pretty tasty and obviously very drinkable, but it's as though I was waiting for something that never came. Maybe I was expecting too much, thanks to my love of blueberries - but they just didn't come through like I wanted them to. Still a decent Berliner, but IMO, last place of the Pipeworks quad.

Cheers to Goblinmunkey7 for sharing this beer
Consumed 2/8/13
Appearance: A charming light purple, with some nice red and pink tones - mostly clear - light pink head, keeps a decent cap and a nice ring - some nice splotches of lacing - yup, it's pretty
Smell: At first, it genuinely smells like a strange, funky cheese, but it gets more pleasant if it warms - some weird vegetable aromas and chewy wood - light blueberry - some mild funkiness - tart, mellow
Taste: Funky weirdness in a good way - blueberry flesh, blueberry skins - chewy wood, I'm guessing this was aged on oak - some yeast and vinegar-like flavors - some vague acidic qualities - overall, kind of tastes like a light sour, but more fresh - some residual sweetness in the finish
Mouthfeel: Light body, nicely carbonated, very drinkable, but a bit watery
Overall: An interesting use of blueberries and funk
As mentioned above, this kind of tastes like a light sour beer. It also kind of tastes like watered down juice... but in an okay way. It's very interesting, and easy to drink. I would definitely drink this again, even with the odd cheese aroma.

Thanks to djcorrao for the bottle.
Appearance: Pretty deep rose/purple. Small, bubbly, light pink head. Drops to a lively collar and small cap. Decent carbonation on the pour.
Smell: Funky cheese. Light blueberry skin and some juicy flesh in the back. Decidedly odd and funky. Vague citric tart edge. Sweat. Lightly fruity. Pretty mellow. Some oak hints. Corn.
Taste: Tart and funky. Light blueberry fruitiness. Juicy flesh and tannic skin. Funky cheese and some dirt. Some oak and corn. Tart and sweaty. Seriously, it smells like BO and cheese with a soft ripe blueberry undercurrent. Citric bite. Almost acetic at times. Light, pale malts. Some backing malt sweetness. Hints of white bread.
Mouthfeel: Light body with a high carbonation. Crisp and very dry.
Overall: The Lady in Red always seemed a bit classier.
Unique. Hyper funky. Dirty and vaguely fruity. Not good, not bad.
