This is an impressive store. Made a quick stop while visiting relatives in Dallas. A little screwy getting into store because of all the construction, but that appears to be the rule for Dallas.
Very nice, clean store. Picture Walmart for all things alcohol...
Above average craft beer selection with lots of Stone, Jester King, Dogfish Head, Unibroue, Mikkellar, Clown Shoes, Sixpoint, Green Flash and some other Belgians.
Limited branded glassware, but a few non-branded items up front with the wine glasses. Two pack of the Sam Adams pints were in the back. Couple of Unibroue glasses too.
I didn't get a chance to browse the wine or liquor but it looked very impressive.
The staff was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Beer guy seemed eager to just chat about beer and various breweries.
Would love to have a store half as nice near my hometown. Looking forward to my next trip to Dallas and Specs.

Similiar to most Spec's I have been to over the years. First time in this one as I live on the East Coast now. Above average selection of craft beers and imports and very good selection of refrigerated 6 and 4 packs as well as bombers. IPA/IIPA bombers in the cooler where they belong. Beer guy was pretty knowledgeable of his products but had to ask for the "hard to find" stuff kept in the back. Seems if you are a regular you can get the hook up as he asked a few of his obvious buddies if they wanted a Boulevard Rye-on-Rye (which I had to ask for specifically). Not a condemnation just an observation. Check out was quick and cordial. Didn't look at or need any of the fine foods or other spirits but the selection looked impressive in size. Needed a pint glass as I was travelling and they had them for cheap. Not a large glassware selection but worked in a pinch. Parking is odd, and the location can be a challenge depending on which direction you arrive from.
