The beer is dark golden, one could say its amber in color. I prefer dark golden. Nice foamy head thrones. Sticky and dense. The aroma is intense. It is spicy, some sugar and Belgium yeast. In the mouth, the beer is spicy, with a dry finish slightly bitter. Vry effervescent in the mouth. Refreshing. A typical Belgian saison. Some fruits also in the taste. I like this one. For the price also, it's quite good.

Pours a light golden yellow, translucent, huge very foamy off white head with lots of lacing.
Smell is fairly complex--some lightly funky yeast, hay, pepper and spice, floral notes, some sweet honey or maybe hints of tropical fruit. Fairly sweet overall.
Taste is lots of flowers, some peppery yeast but not really any funk, light honey sweetness again, hint of peach. Not quite as complex as the nose but a really nice, delicate saison. More sweet than dry.
Mouthfeel is pretty good, feels soft and delicate, not as bubbly as you'd expect from the appearance but very drinkable.
"Delicate" is the word that jumps out at me to describe this beer, it's pretty subtle and really enjoyable but no bold flavors or anything.

I thought someone sent this to me, but I can't find anything in my notes. If it was you, please let me know so I can give credit where credit is due. Maybe I did buy it. Anyways...
Appearance. Pours a rich yellow gold with just a little haze and a big 3 fingers of white head that settles to a thick island in the middle of a thin head and leaves some nice lacing along the way.
Smell. Nice peppery saison yeast, apples, pears, banana and a little clove, and even a little bit of high quality ganj in there! Nice.
Taste. That fruity, peppery saison yeast again, some dry banana chips, a bit of clove and little bit of bitter earthy hops in the finish. Good, but we're going downhill here since the pour.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with medium-strong, fine carbonation.
Overall. A nice saison. I liked it, but probably wouldn't buy it again having better choices out there.

From notes...
A - Pours a clear golden colour, thumb of big bubbled head with solid retention, sheeting lacing and heavy visible body carbonation.
S - Fruity notes with bananas and cloves, hints of grassy hops, buttered bread, citrus rind and a musty caramel finish.
T - Much like the nose with the fruity bananas and cloves coming through alongside sour citrus rinds, leafy greens, hints of bubble gum and a touch of honey. Wide ranging flavours from a style that I've really begun to enjoy.
M - Medium bodied, smooth and surprisingly wet.
O - A tasty saison that offers up a fruity bouquet that is nicely balanced with a bitter citrus rind hop profile that makes for an easy drinking ale. Would be a great brew for a hot summer day, light and refreshing, but enough flavour to keep you intrigued.

Bottle from papat444. Served in a Cigar City tulip.
A - Big white foam settles to a thin cap, big collar, and plenty of lacework. Lightly hazed apricot body. Really good-looking brew and spot-on for the style.
S - Phenolic and fruity yeast notes, with lots of banana, pears, and stone fruits. Quite sweet; not sure if there is candi sugar in this? Some wheat and toasted grain notes.
T - Again, quite sweet with tons of banana and other fruity notes. Bready malt backbone, with understated, lightly spicy Belgian yeast. Seems more like a cross between a Saison and a Hefeweizen than a true farmhouse beer.
M - Smooth, medium body, with toasty texture and lightly dry finish. Pleasant active carbonation, and no discernible alcohol.
D - A solid beer that's a tad too sweet for my tastes when it comes to this style. It was quite easy to drink the entire 750ml bottle and it's quite flavorful for only 6% ABV, but I was expecting something a little more peppery and dry.

A - crystal clear golden with a mountain of head and lots of random lacing
S - mild notes of sour fruit, grainy, light leafiness, and pepper
T - similar to the nose but more robust flavours, peppery and leafy hops hold their own with fruit yeasty flavours creating a good balance
M - light with big carbonation that is slightly prickly, very dry and crisp finish
O - a very solid example of the style, the crisp hoppiness creates a good balance against the fruity yeasty flavours

750mL bottle, picked up by a friend at Broue Ha Ha in Gatineau.
Poured into a wine glass. Bright shimmering golden, with a big billowing fluffy head, lots of lacing on this and excellent retention. Lovely looking brew indeed.
Nose is dry and fresh, with lovely floral, resin, citrus, and yeasty notes, and a distinct scent of pepper and other spices lingering in the mix.
If you like your saisons dry and spicy, this one will certainly do the trick. In addition to the aforementioned flavor notes, this brew has a nice grain and musk flavor to go along with an assertive peppery, spicy bite. Light, fresh, vigorous but not overpowering carbonation.
Another winner from Charlevoix. Great dry saison, good depth here.

Another masterful contribution to their Belgian premium series. Fresh smelling aroma draws me in. Lemon, balsam, wheat, tart fruit, complex. Dry finish. Very good drinkability. Vast head on medium cloudy yellow body. Liam's bottle and worth seeking out.

Bottle from ZorPrime, thanks Eric! 750ml into a tulip, bottled April 25, 2012.
Poured without the yeast initially, golden orange with a great white head. Fantastic retention. Lots of yeast on the nose, lemon, citrus zest, apricot, light herbal hopping and just a suggestion of spice. Taste has a bit of wheat, great Charlevoix yeast character, more lemon/citrus zest. Light floral - quite subtle all around, but complex at the same time. Medium-full body but a great density and texture to it. A fantastic saison, extremely drinkable and subtly complex. Another winner from the Dominus Vobiscum series.

Pale blonde colour, light ring of white head with some lace as well. Smell is yeasty, spice, coriander, a bit of herbal and floral scents, nice malt presence and a little bit of funk as well as some fruity notes. Taste is clean, malty and fruity, some floral flavours and spice, lemon, a bit of herbal flavours in the finish with some dry yeastiness as well going into the aftertaste. Medium-high carbonation, medium feel, carbonation felt a touch high probably because it is so crisp and dry. Solid saison, another well done Belgian style from Charlevoix.

750ml Bottle from Marche Omni QC for 6.99+
Appearance – Clear yellow/amber colour with a massive size fizzy white coloured head. There is an above average amount of carbonation and there is some fair lacing. The head lasted for around 6-7 minutes before it was gone.
Smell - Grains/wheat, corn, grass, yeast, citrus zest
Taste & Mouth - The beer has an above average amount of carbonation. I can taste grains/bread mixed with corn and a grassiness. There is also quite a bit of peppery yeast notes with some lemon zest. It ends with a spicy bitter aftertaste.
Overall – Just tad too herbal/bitter for my tastes. But still another solid beer from this brewer. Well worth the price of the bottle.
