La Vache Folle Imperial Milk Stout bought a 500ml bottle for 5,39$ at Provigo here in Montreal.
Look: Dark colour, 1 finger of brown moka head,
Smell: Roasted malt, Sweet vanilla, Coffee, Caramel, chocolate,
Taste: Roasted malt (very present), dark coffee, chocolate and a bit of vanilla.
Feel: Medium body, light to medium carbonation, very smooth. Its just that roasted malt his kicking more than I expected witch translate to a bit of bitterness at the end. Not quite enjoying that but overall the smoothness for a 9% makes it up for it.
So overall would I recommend it ? Sure, very nice overall, not the best, but not the worst.
Would I buy it again ? No, Its just that bitterness put me off a bit.

Dark black appearance with tan brown head. Left some lacing.
The smell is very cool. Sweet vanilla kind of smell with roasted malt.
Taste is upfront sweet vanilla, roasted malt, some coffee notes from the malt character, and maybe some chocolate barely at the end. Super cool and quite sweet but probably not the most drinkable because of the sweetness.
The mouthfeel is normal for a 9% stout. Lowish carbonation and medium-full bodied.
Overall this is something that is definitely worth trying. Super cool dessert beer.

Got in a BIF from TheDoctor. Rated blind. 500 ml bottle into snifter, bottled on 5/17/2018. Pours nearly opaque dark brown/black color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, toffee, whipped cream, nuttiness, dark/brown bread, toasted biscuit, and dark fruit; with lighter notes of smoke, char, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. A bit too fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malts, lactose, and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, toffee, whipped cream, nuttiness, dark/brown bread, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of dark fruit, smoke, char, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate Light-moderate herbal, grassy, peppery hop; and roast/char bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, toffee, whipped cream, nuttiness, dark/brown bread, toasted biscuit, light smoke/char, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, lactose, and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying/acrid/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/char bitterness. Medium-plus carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 9%. Overall this is an excellent imperial milk stout! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, lactose, and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Nicely rich English malt complexity, lactose, balancing earthy hops against sweetness, and restrained English yeast presence. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Dark brown with an amber tinge when held to the light, and topped 5 fingers of deep, beige head.
Smells of coffee, stale urination, and chocolate.
Tastes of chocolate, dark coffee, its quite sweet, with a hint of umami.
Very smooth, thick body with a little carbonation.
Got this in Gatineau, drinking in Muskoka, April 25th, 2018. Really well done brew.

Pours very dark black with an ample head. Smells of coffee, vanilla, and milk. Taste is smooth and creamy with coffee, vanilla, and chocolate vying for supremacy. Very thick and creamy mouth feel; although, quite a heavy beer. Overall, it's a good milk stout which I've had a few times and will certainly have again.
