This is a relatively new joint right on Washington Circle in NW DC, and across the street from George Washington University and GWU Hospital. This isn't so much a bar as it is a relatively upscale fast food place. Bright, well lit and with lots of stainless, this is either sterile or modern, depending on your mood. Not much in way of service here, you order and pay at the counter and come back to pick up your food, but the staff seemed helpful, at least as far as food went. The quality of drafts (19+1 cider) is impressive, with some local offerings and enough of a variety of styles to keep anyone interested (check the website for the list). The burgers are pretty solid. At $8, they aren't cheap, but aren't too pricey either, and offer interesting combinations. The drafts are $6-ish, which, while high, isn't too bad for the neighborhood. I wouldn't go out of my way to get here, but if I find myself visiting friends at GW, or needing a beer with a quick lunch after heading to the hospital, this is the better bet in the neighborhood.
