I came here once during a day trip to Santa Cruz and I cannot wait to return. SARA is located at the tail end of a quiet street running along the highway, just before the trailer park. But once you enter the tap room you feel like you should be in the middle of the countryside, at the top of a long and winding road, surrounded by farmland and livestock. (I guess the number of dogs that came in and out were the closest thing to this.) The vibe here just feels right—so warm and welcoming, even for those who arrived solo. I’m not even going to rave about the beers—except to say that they are all worth the hype, and then some. Growler fills for everyone, too. Looking forward to great things from these good folks.

Went to Sante for the first time yesterday and was very impressed. What a great place to go and have some awesome brews. Small tasting room with a few tables and stools as well as small area out front. Listings on the chalk board and you're treated last ke family when you walk in. Selections range from 3-8 on tap and possible growler fill and if you're really lucky bottle(s) to go. Can't go wrong with anything they serve. So far the Cask 200 is my fav but need to head back and try what I can. No food here but you can bring your own and sharing is caring!!!

I went to Sante Adairius for the first time yesterday. I really enjoyed it. They have a great patio area outside and space inside to sit and have a brew. It is kid friendly so if you have a wee one and are worried don't be and don't feel like you have to miss out on this great spot in the Bay. Can't wait to go back. Cheers.

My first place review as I have to give props to Tim and Adair for doing it right.
Atmosphere - smallish inside with wine barrel tables and a few bar seats. Outside is small as well(basically 3 parking spaces). It's cordoned off by some wine barrels and rope. Simple and clean which is good to see.
Quality- They've been open for a year and have already put out some of the best sours I've had from the U.S. Their IPA is really tasty and crisp and their porters and stouts are fantastic and drinkable.
Service - Everyone that walks through the doors is like their family. They talk to everyone equally and are extremely humble. Last week was Tim birthday and everyone in there sang Happy Birthday to him and had some cake. Awesome
Selection- Because it's such a small brewery and hasn't been open for too long the selections are sometimes hit or miss. Everything they have is good which makes the choices easier but there are sometimes 3 beers on tap or as many as 8. Growler fills are usually only 1 offering although I've seen 2 as well as none. They are undergoing a fair sized expansion now so I expect the selections to improve in the coming months.
No food sold there but you can bring your own and eat there. I've been there when someone buys a few pizzas and everyone gets a slice which is cool.
Value- Everything is very inexpensive given the quality. They offer full and half pours on all the beers and the bottles for takeaway are only $18 which is a steal. Growler fills are also $18 i believe and they'll fill any standard growler.
Huge thank you to the owners for doing such an incredible job.

A small brewery located in an industrial area in Capitola. The owners are fantastic people, I got to know Tim a bit when he worked at Seven Bridges. The tasting room is quite small, a few tables and chairs. They also usually put some tables out in the parking lot out in front of the brewery. They usually have 4-6 beers on tap and a couple of bottles available. They do growler fills but because of limited supply they usually only have one of their beers available for growler fills. They have also had problems having beers available for tasting but seem to have more supply lately. They also just posted some pictures on their Facebook page of several large fermenters being unloaded so it looks like their capacity will be increasing shortly. No food.
The beer is fantastic. Their 831 IPA is great. They make a lot of different saisons. They have relationships with a lot of wine makers which allows them to age a lot of stuff in wine barrels. It will be fun to follow them as they grow as they have already developed quite a following.

Brewery and tasting room well off the beaten path. What a gem. Creative styles, always fresh, nice folks, stools and benches around barrels. Growler and bomber sales, not otherwise distributed. The 831 IPA is my favorite -- exploding with citrusy hop aroma and not overly bitter on the back end -- could drink this by the half gallon. Oh wait I do.

A fine establishment! Went there 2 weeks ago for the 1st time, and tonight was my 2nd visit. If you live in Santa Cruz County, we are very lucky to have this kind of brewery in our own backyard!!! The beers are fantastic. I've only tried 6 of them, but they have all been excellent. You should visit even if you are not a beer drinker (try the Anais for non-beer drinkers). The Anais and Brewer's Beard so far are my favorites. The 831 IPA is right up there with Pliny the Elder from Russian River. I can totally see Sante Adairius growing out of their current location very quickly. If Sante Adairius were a stock trading publicly, I would be loading up on call options.

Located out of the way a little, but not too far off the 1. The tasting room/bar is located in a mini office park.
The bar is right in the front with offererings on a chalk board. There are some seasts at the bar and a few table inside, and weather permitting outside.
Been here three times. My favorites are the 831 IPA, Love's Amour, Harvest Blond, Adjunct Professor, and a black IPA.
The service has been very good, with owner/brewer Tim oftwn serving up pints with his wife Adair.
This is the best place to chill over a few beers in the Santa Cruz area. Other brewers such as Sountain Cruz Aleworks, and Uncommon Brewers could be this as well. But alas, this is THE destination in Santa Cruz.

I can only say that I wish this place was closer to me! The place is small but clean, charming, laid back, and makes you want to just hang out all afternoon. The beer is very good and rotates all the time (they post the daily tap list so you can keep up) with a seemingly endless array of takes on different styles. Tim and Adair are incredibly nice and walk around chatting and making sure you are having a great time.
I intend to refill my growler(s) every single time I am in Capitola... which may have to be a lot more often!

I was hyped to hear that a new nanobrewery was opening in Capitola, and after some delays I have to say that they exceeded my expectations. Tim and Adair are really nice people who put their hearts into making something special, and it shows. Even though the place is tiny (seats about 16 or so), it has a nice open ambiance with good music always playing and simple decorations highlighting the raw ingredients used in the brewing process. 6 taps as of now, with the lineup always changing but all their creations are loosely Belgian/farmhouse inspired and delicious. Make sure to try the Brewer's Beard and Nonna's Blend if possible, and look out for bottles to hit the local markets soon. A great start for a great local brewery making unique and tasty beers!
