From a chilled 32 ounce growler poured into a large tulip. Thanks to Paul for the hookup.
A – Pours hazy pale golden with about a half inch of bright white head that dissipated pretty quickly. Some spotty lacing remained after each swirl.
S – Tart lemon, grainy wheat, pretzel.
T – Lemony and tart. Not overpoweringly tart, but tart enough to make my sour-hating wife recoil. There is some wheat sweetness in the finish, and the salt becomes apparent as it warms a bit.
M –Quite light, but refreshingly so. The salt helps it stick to the palate a bit, but to say it coated the palate would be an overstatement. Moderate carbonation, even after a week in the well-sealed growler (and a trip to Boston from Florida).
O – I haven’t had a lot of Gose with which to compare it, but I really like this. Easy drinking, refreshing, and tasty. Plus, the 4% ABV means I can finish the growler without hurting myself.

Growler pour at mrbubbler's tasting.
Pours a murky light yellow with a foamy white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and Fruity Pebbles aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour fruity and salty flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is refreshing, tasty, and easy to drink.

Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at Rapp Brewing Company tasting room.
A: Hazy, nearly opaque straw-colored, with a one-finger white head and low visible carbonation.
S: Wheat and pilsner malts, a bit of funk, and a savory sulfurous tartness.
T: Wheat grainy, salty, lemon citrus, mild sulfur tones, some barnyard, and a nice tartness in the back of the mouth. Dry and salty on the finish.
M: Light body, low alcohol presence, and good carbonation sensation.
O: This might be the only example of the style I've had, but I find it quite enjoyable. Nothing I'd always have in the fridge, but easy to drink, refreshing, and definitely an interesting style.
