Half a finger of head on a clear, golden colored body.
The aroma is a nice barley backbone with lemon upfront.
The taste is grain with a metallic note and moderate bitterness.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
The assertive dry bitter flavor was good except for the metallic note to it.

A - Served a clear golden-orange color with a bit of frothy white head. The head faded down at a normal pace leaving behind some lacing.

S - Aroma is a mix of grains and some sweet malt with some lemon peel, a touch of citrus hop, and some lager esters.

T - Starts off with a mix of sweet grains with a bit of bready malts and some lemon peel. Through the middle, a bit more citrus fruits come through with a bit more bready malts. The finish is a mix of sweet grains and malts with some light hop and a bit of lager yeast.

M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a crisp and dry finish.

D - Very drinkable. Nicely balanced and very crisp.

A: Served a pale golden-straw color with a finger of off-white head that faded into a fuzzy film and collar leaving streaks of thin lace down the glass.
S: Light nose with a few notes of dry grains and citrus zest. Lemon rind hops and a splash of malty sweet apple juice are in there as well.
T: Light like the nose but with more yeast character. Tastes like a light easy going lager with a few extra hops. I get a little bit of the apple cider from the nose again. The finish is clean though and not too sweet, although overall this beer is sweeter than I expected.
M: Clean and crisp mouthfeel with a light body and refreshing carbonation. Drinks very easy.
O: Definitely a refreshing beer, and probably the best light American lager I’ve had. I did thick it was a bit on the sweet side, but I’m splitting hairs.

First thing's first. I am thrilled to finally try this one after reading about it a while back and also for being the first review.

Pours a clear orange with a bone colored head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Thick streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and some herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with some citrus zest flavors coming out as well. There is a mild bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with a very interesting concept behind it.
