A- About the darkest reddish brown possible, with any light coming through as purely red. Nice thick, tan head.
S- Molasses and gingerbread up front as well as some dried fruit lurking in the background.
T- Same as the nose, molasses and gingerbready flavors, but with more emphasis on the fruity (ranging from citric to tropical) flavors. The flavor finishes with strong toasted bread and roasted nut flavors followed by a crisp dry finish.
M- Medium bodied, good carbo for the style.
D- Very drinkable stuff, I could finish a few in a sitting due to low ABV (5.5%) and manageable body.
Definitely just found my go-to beer for winter nights this season!

If one thing is consistent about this xmas releases from Anchor, they always seem to have that brown in the middle and red at the edge appearance. Off white head 1/2". Aroma smelled like a forest with damp dirt around it. Lots of spice rack in the earth.
A little bit woody, a little bit brown malt, alt like malt feels to it. Some what bitter, but apparently not from any large degree of hopping.
Neat to check out, but not a repeat thing. Didn't really change much with age either.
