Poured from 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Bottled 4/26/2012.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a haze-free body and a nice, moderate effervescence. Head is a finger of pillowy white foam with a nice lace left on the glass. This reminds me much more of a kristalweizen than an APWA, but I like it nonetheless.
Smell: malty aroma which is lightly grainy and lightly wheaty. Pretty basic aroma, but it's very clean and seems well-crafted.
Taste: flavor is like the aroma, a basic, grainy, wheaty malt flavor. There is also, however, an interesting floral characteristic which could be a yeast by-product or possibly due to hopping. It's not bad, though the overall effect is a little perfumey for my taste. Still, not a bad hot-day refresher.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a well-integrated carbonation and a pretty nice creaminess. I like it.
Overall: a decently refreshing beer, if not a perfect one. The floral/perfumey character of the flavor just doesn't suit me, at least not in the intensity evident here.

A - Poured into a pint with a golden color and a lot of carbination bubbling up.
S - Grainy, wheat. malts
T - Malty taste, wheat and a little yeasty.
M - light but with a bit of carbination. goes down easy and refreshing
O - Many other summer beers beat this one. Flavor was not right for me.

12oz bottle into mason jar. i can't be bothered to decipher the archaic code on the back. i know anchor prides itself on being 'old-school', but it's 2013 for shit's sake.
very clear yellow-amber look, small white fluffy head. smell is dry grain/wheat, with some lemon-pepper. taste is light, fluffy, airy wheat, with a lemony kick of hops. feel is light, finish of lingering bitterness.

Appearance: Golden with great bubbles and good lacing.
Smell: Lemon...a lot like Pinesol. Somehow that medicinal smell works pretty well here.
Taste/Mouthfeel: Lemon and pine. Medium dry with a seltzer dryness. Taste is ok, but I really like the mouthfeel.
Overall Drinkability: Not a great beer. None of the fruity/yeasty wheat qualities I like. I would drink this again, but would not go out of my way.

Pretty average tasting beer to me, nothing about it really stood out. It is pretty drinkable, had to try it when it came to bottle shop. Tasted almost amberish to me. The bottle describes it as being very crisp, but I didn't get that experience. Maybe had it been on tap...

Poured two fingers of foamy head on a clear, golden colored body. Lots of bubbles, looks great.
The aroma is nice: honey and clover.
The taste has a moderate, dry bitterness that almost goes towards metallic. It's tempered by the wheat softness.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
It's on the more bitter side for a summer beer, tends towards a German pils bitter taste.

Clear deep golden color with a finger or more of white dense head. Good amount of lacing for the top two inches of the glass.
Smell is very light malts with a touch of floral hops.
Taste is bitter lemons with a good earthy leather hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel is a bit light but expected in a beer of this type. Carbonation is just right and the beer finishes quite dry.
Overall a good summer beer with a distinct Anchor Brewing flavor profile. I never did taste or smell the wheat aspect which is fine by me. Not a big fan of wheat beers in general.
