look: 4 | smell: 2 | taste: 1.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 5
Appearance:
The beer pours crystal clear and golden in color. There's a big fluffy white head but it displays poor retention and very little lacing.
Smell:
From what I could gather, and that isn't much since this beer is almost devoid of scent, this beer smells like dish soap and nutmeg. There's corn like sweetness in the back but ultimately nothing about this beer really says wheat anything to me, crisp and light malt liquor maybe but not wheat ale.
Taste and Mouthfeel:
The beer drinks thin with very faint flavors of corn sweetness and a fleeting hint of wheat. There's some mild earthy hop tones but they're pretty blunted as well. Carbonation is light, and the beer goes down rather smooth which is to be expected in a beer nearly vacant of flavor. The finish is clean with a lingering corn sweetness in to the aftertaste.
Drinkability:
This beer is only baby steps ahead of a macro lager in terms of flavor and as such the drinkability is just about as high. An absolutely pound worthy beer.
Bottom Line:
Well I'd take this over a Budweiser on just about any day but only just so. A really lackluster beer from an otherwise great brewery. Pass on this beer.

Served in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Judging by the sweat after my run tonight, it's definitely Summer now. This stuff pours a clear brass topped by over a finger of white foam. The nose comprises light lemon peel, light wheat, light sweet flowers, and a hint of what may or may not be coriander. The taste brings in more of the same, but ups the lemon to a point where it's the clear star, making for a fruity breeze of a drink. The body is a hefty light, with a moderate carbonation and a crisp finish. Overall, a nice little hot-weather quaff, nothing special, but something easily drinkable.

A - Poured into a pint with a golden color and a lot of carbination bubbling up.
S - Grainy, wheat. malts
T - Malty taste, wheat and a little yeasty.
M - light but with a bit of carbination. goes down easy and refreshing
O - Many other summer beers beat this one. Flavor was not right for me.

12oz bottle into mason jar. i can't be bothered to decipher the archaic code on the back. i know anchor prides itself on being 'old-school', but it's 2013 for shit's sake.
very clear yellow-amber look, small white fluffy head. smell is dry grain/wheat, with some lemon-pepper. taste is light, fluffy, airy wheat, with a lemony kick of hops. feel is light, finish of lingering bitterness.

Appearance: Golden with great bubbles and good lacing.
Smell: Lemon...a lot like Pinesol. Somehow that medicinal smell works pretty well here.
Taste/Mouthfeel: Lemon and pine. Medium dry with a seltzer dryness. Taste is ok, but I really like the mouthfeel.
Overall Drinkability: Not a great beer. None of the fruity/yeasty wheat qualities I like. I would drink this again, but would not go out of my way.

Pretty average tasting beer to me, nothing about it really stood out. It is pretty drinkable, had to try it when it came to bottle shop. Tasted almost amberish to me. The bottle describes it as being very crisp, but I didn't get that experience. Maybe had it been on tap...
