Ah paddas market, my neighborhood market. This place is definitely unique. It used to be a Mexican shop and carnecia called azteca but when padda bought it he kept everything the same except a new selection of beer! the selection is very good for a market with a dedicated fridge of 22s that range from all of the bay areas best breweries at the cheapest I've eer seen them, including most of Moylan and Marin, speak easy, lagunitus, to even drakes. I pick up hop stoopid here for 3.19. Racer 5, red rocket and hop rod rye 3.99 a bomber. I found a nice stash of aroma coma here when it was out for 5.50, what an awesome few weeks that was. The most exclusive stuff they have however is probably the vertical epics, so don't come in for abyss or something like that.
Another neat thing they got is a few fridges dedicated to central and south American imports labeled by country, almost all o them represented, even a few Ive never seen in the states.
Another cool thing they do is take request and they try their best to get it.
One thing to remember DO NOT EAT THERE! Theres a little taco place inside that may be convinient but skip on it.The food sucks and the service is horrible. 22 min to get 2 tacos.
Instead the "5" for food goes to the place 2 doors down, El Palenque. That place is one of the best on te peninsula, it's another secret spot of min I go to almost 2-3 times a week. Real cheap and delicious. 1.25 tacos and 5.50 for burritos with everything in it. So far I have yet to find a better prawn burrito, this place is the bar I rate them at.
