11.2 oz. stubby Belgian style bottle,
A: Pours a deep goldenrod with a powerful white head, good lace.
S: Nose is heavily estery - peach, orange, yellow apples. Flowery.
T: Flavour is again dominated by the yeast flavours. Musty oranges, peach, apple, wildflowers, and just a hint of barnyard. Quite tasty.
M: Medium-bodied, tad overcarbonated but only just. Dry finish. Solid Belgian mouthfeel.
D: For being probably 6 months older than ideal it's pretty good, but it's a saison not a BPA so it should hold up. $6 isn't outrageous in this category, so it's a solid pickup.

Poured from an 11.2 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is very cloudy orange yellow color with a small white head. The aroma has an OK smell of malt and hops. The taste is better than the aroma but it is very sour.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep golden color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, wheat, bread, floral, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with well balanced fruity/earthy yeast, bready malt, and hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, floral, grass, herbal, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, hops, and bready malt flavors; with good robustness and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this a nice and pleasant summer saison style. Well balanced yeast, hop, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
