On tap at Victory Cafe.
Poured a deep amber colour with a small amount of white head.
Faint hop smell with some sweetness. Not an overly impressive nose.
Palate was bitter piney hops with a slight caramel malt backbone that gave it a little bit of sweetness. Bitter on the finish. I drank this thinking that it was a slightly weak IPA only to find out that it is a pale ale, which would make it a somewhat hoppy pale ale.
Light to medium body, moderate carbonation.
A very good beer. Nice to find a pale ale with some bitter hop bite.
