Enjoyed this fine offering at the brewery from the tap in a pint glass. It pours the color brown with a head the color of sand or tan if you will. Nose has some really nice spicy pepper aromas to it which are backed by mellow malts. Taste not quite as peppery, but nice. I don't usually like chili beers, but this is good. Would probably make a good bloody beer.

This beer pours a very translucent amber, minimal head and lace throughout. First thing you notice when picking up the glass is the strong aroma of chili's, this beer smells spicy as all get out, and upon sipping the thing you notice is how spicy this beer is. I've had several chili beers before, this one is the spiciest and yet the best I've had thus far. It pairs very well with the Lemon Tabasco Fried Chicken, definitely recommend this combination.

Solid amber body; light, slowly dissipating head that leaves nice spidery lacing down the pint glass. Rather faint scent of chili with not much else in the nose. Hot, peppery, moderately fiery chili flavor; hint of light malt grains in the background. Medium body; crisp, clean dry finish.
You wouldn't expect much from the initial smell, but the taste is pretty outstanding and really defines this brew. The chili heat lingers long and slow. Per the bartender, the chilies for this beer were acquired in Pueblo, CO.
