This is the same beer as their Phantom IPA. The only difference is the Phantom IPA is served on cask and this is served on CO2. Both very similar beers, but it is nice to compare the two serving vessels. The cask version is much creamier and easier to drink. This version however does a better job of bringing out the hop profile in the beer. The body seems thin and over carbonated compared to the cask version.

This IPA is certainly nothing spectacular, however it is definitely one of the more drinkable IPA's. A very light amber color, this beer has a half-inch head with minimal lacing down the glass. Less bitter than your typical IPA, also far less of a fruit taste, but still easily drinkable. Not my favorite beer, but certainly not something I would turn down.

Pours a clear golden/copper color with a thick white head, nice retention, and spotty lace.
The aroma is of orange peel, grapefruit, and caaramel and toast.
Simple flavors of toast, caramel sweet in the middle, with a nice citrus finish of orange and grapefruit.
Nice balance, mild middle, and hoppy, dry finish.
Overall easy to drink and enjoyable.

First had: at their brewpub
A fine, average IPA. Poured golden yellow with orange tints, and a moderate white head. Aroma of grains, pale malts, crisp hops, typical stuff. Bready pale malts in the taste, balanced decently with citrusy hops. A somewhat bitter aftertaste left in the mouth. Light medium body, and fairly drinkable. Nothing new, but still okay.
