Poured out with a rad looking cody to it, almost purple with a pink fizzy head on top. The smell of the beer was a little funky and tart but mostly very sweet smelling. The taste of this has a light tartness in the beginning that fades into a sugary sweet raspberry flavor. The mouthfeel is a little like soda to me. Overall it's a decent brew in my opinion. Could be better though.

Fresh on tap, one of the most expensive kegs I've ever heard tell of...the bottles are pricey, too. Is it worth it?

Pink, pudding-ish head, rosy, raspberry-y appearance, clear at the bottom, darker near the top.

Aroma: sweet, ever-so-slightly tart. Very raspberry, only slightly cloying, not quite in Kool-aid land, but dangerously close.

Taste: Intense flavors on first sip, very puckering, but the tart mellows out with a quickness. Raspberry flavor is fast and furious, then smooths out and leaves the palate quietly. Raise the glass again, down it goes: rapsberry, tart, but, as it says on their website, ""faithfully reflects the colour and flavour of ripe raspberries with no trace of the acidity of lambic."
See, that acidity is something I could actually go for, especially in a fruit lambic. What's left is certainly flavorful and consumable, but rather uninspired.
Fairly flat and one-dimensional, but I hear that's what sells these days.
If you're looking for a more authentic version, look for Oud Beersel, Cantillon, Drei Fonteneine, Boon, or elsewhere.

I cannot really consider this a lambic, as the aroma and flavor are entirely fruit-juicy. Raspberry juice, not terribly sweet or tart, but slightly carbonated, is all that this beer is evocative of. Decidely non-beery, however, it is a refreshing fruit malt beverage, so I can drink it.

Served in flute. Poured a clean, clear red with about 1/2 inch of just off-white head that moderate retention and very good lacing.

The aroma was a very pleasant raspberry scent, with just hints of grain and yeast. The flavor was very much the same, the fruit dominates, with grain and yeast playing minor supporting roles.

The body was a bit thin, but very crisp, clean and dry. Drinkability was good, as this beer wasn't as sweet as others of the style. I'm still not sure I'd have more than one at a time though.

Overall, a nice little brew. Worth trying if you see it.

A nose with a powerful scent of raspberry suggesting the use of a syrup. It is safe obviously not on this one because the mouth is the same ilk, that is to say strong on the fruity and syrupy but without being saturated with sugar. The lambic is discreet, if not nonexistent, and the omnipresent scent of raspberry.

Enjoyed this 12oz bottle out of a large snifter glass.

A: Pours a reddish-pink hue with a pinkish-white head that slowly dissipates down the slide of the glass leaving a good trail and ends in a solid lace.

S: Sweet fruity raspberry aroma.

T: Extremely tart and fruity flavor – mostly raspberry and maybe strawberry followed by a dry sweet finish.

M: Medium body and medium carbonation.

O: As far as lambics go this is one of the best.

Pours a finger of a pinkish head that reduces soon to layer, some lacing. Body is a clear redbrown with coarse bubbles visible

Smells sweet of raspberry lemonade with a hint of tartness. Artificial.

Taste is raspberry lemonade that seems a little artificial probably due to the sweetener. Nice gentle tart aftertaste really saves the day.

Thin body, refreshing carbonation that keeps sweetness in check, ends nicely dry for such a "sweet" beer.

Not a bad fruity lambic. They tried to make it more mainstream by adding the sugar and sweeteners but there is still this nice tartness, so it maintains some of its lambic heritage. It is dissapointing that they added raspberry juice instead of real raspberries which could remove some of the artificial aroma and taste.

My 250ml bottle was a nice dessert after dinner. Wouldn't drink a second one though.

The Timmermans Framboise Lambic was a light and refreshing beer. It had a pink appearance and was murky. The aroma smelled like fresh strawberries. The mouth-feel was very light and easy to drink. It had a very light and fruity(strawberry) taste which was very refreshing.

Appearance: Medium amber brown, with a small, dense white head. The lacing is thick and glass-coating.

Aroma: Dense notes of intensely sweet raspberries, faint vanilla, slight horse blanket and a hint of barnyard.

Taste: Opens with strong, tart raspberry, followed by some lemon rind. The raspberry and lemon rind carry throughout the taste. At the close, there is a moderate lambic sourness, which serves to balance the raspberry at the close.

Mouth feel: Smooth, soft, rather pleasant, with a hint of champagne-like carbonation.

Drinkability/notes:Not bad, certainly light when compared to Lindeman's Frambois, but pleasant.

Presentation: Packaged in an eleven point two ounce brown glass bottle with a pry-off crown, served in a Limdeman's Lambic flute.

A- This beer has a dark brown body glowing red at the base with a reddish hue to the beige head that becomes sticky and a gentle carbonation swirling up the sides of the glass.

S- The slightly earthy cherry notes give way to a more full raspberry hint that quickly turns into cough syrup as the beer opens.

T- The soft tartness opens to a bright dark raspberry flavor in the finish. The fruit flavor coats the tongue in the sweet finish and gets more and more syrupy with each sip.

M- The medium-light mouthfeel has a tight fizz that tries to fit the sweetness but can’t and there is no astringency or alcohol noticed.

O- This has a nice real fruit flavor but the sweetness just overpowers this fruit beer. There is a bit of tartness from the raspberries but it is not enough. The fruit really gets to syrupy and a bit artificial in the after taste. It’s tough to get through this bottle.

Poured chilled into a snifter. Bottled on 7/11/11

Brick red color with very small white head.

Smells like acidic raspberries. Reminds me a little bit of raspberry jam.

Tastes like sour raspberries with hint of an aspartame sweetness. Somewhere between a raspberry soda and champagne with an intriguing sourness.

It is a little bit thin, but well carbonated.

This is my first ever Lambic, and I'm definitely interested to try more. I found it to be tasty and enticing to my palate.

Large off-white (a bit beige). Settles in lumps. Lots of chunky lace on the glass. The beer color is like a dark amber with a bit garnet added

Smells like fresh raspberries. It's jammy but not overly sweet.

The flavor is quite sweet. There's no sourness that one would typical expect in the style. It tastes good, but like a raspberry filled cookie. The body is rich and the carbonation is very low. It has a bit of a soda feel to the liquid.

A: Pours a very lightly hazy medium garnet red in color with moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a finger tall fizzy pinkish white head that reduces to a small patch of thick large bubbles, a very thin film covering the entire surface of the beer, and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of raspberries that are sweet with a slight hint of artificial sweetness.

T: Similar to the smell, the taste of this beer is pretty sweet with the natural and artificial flavors of raspberries. Slight amounts of tartness.

M: Light bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Slightly prickly from the acidity.

O: Easy to drink as it is not overly sweet or syrupy but not the greatest example of the style - there are others that are less sweet and a little more natural tasting.

Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass. Bottled Nov 7th 2011 it looks like.

A real nice pink hued head, kind of sudsy and shampoo like with not much together but holds ok, sits on a body color of real deep cherry red, lightning up around the edges nicely, dark purple and plum with some nice columns of carbonation.

Nose is very artificial candy smelling. Bubblegum and strawberry, with a big fruit sweetness. Cloying and sticky, some faint Halls like cough drop scent also.

Light malted body with a wet and raspberry like sweetness. Faint bread on a slightly carbonated fizzy body, but a faint hint of tartness just creeps out on the swallow. Lightly sugar fruit punch sweet.

Overall, kind of sweet without much acid or any hint of funk and so forth. It's a fruity sweet brew, but probably just a little bit better than the average I'd say.

Poured from 330mL bottle into a tulip. Label reads 4% ABV and says the bottling date was 7/11/11.

Appearance: haze-free bright red hue with a good effervescence and a thick finger of frothy pink foam. Not much tenacity to the head, but nice raspberry color.

Smell: nice raspberry aroma but it seems a little bit more candylike than natural raspberry. Still, not too bad.

Taste: moderate raspberry flavor with not much malt; there's a strong tartness as well. Again, the fruit flavor isn't bad but I feel like there's something off here.

Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a fizzy carbonation. Not too bad.

Overall: this is a middle-of-the-road raspberry beer. It doesn't have the full complexity I like in a lambic, and it's rather sweet. Decent, but not great.

Bottled 01/25/11! Served from bottle into a Mikkeller stemmed tulip. Poured ruby red with a two finger pinkish head that subsided to a half finger quickly. Maintained phenomenal lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, cherry, raspberry, earth, sour, and tart. The flavor was of sweet malt, raspberry, strawberry, cream, sugar, and subtle earth. It had a light feel on the palate with high carbonation. Overall this was a pretty good brew. The fruit profile on this one is the start of the show as it should be for this style. This made this one very easy to drink and quite enjoyable. The aroma was the only downside on this one as the earthy tone I picked up on was the true dominant factor. Definitely a very nice brew that I was glad I was able to find and try.

A. Pours out a clear purplish-pink in color with a fizzy soda bubble collar for a head that goes completely still in two minutes, no lacing.

S. Smells very strongly of candied raspberries, and mildly of the aroma of that holiday fruitcake covered with assorted “candied fruits.” Very sugary kool-aid type of aroma abounds. Where’s the funky lambic aromas?

T. Raspberry Sweet-Tart candies. Only the tiniest suggestion of malt flavors exist in the finish, and even then, only at room temperature. No lambic funk is present in the flavor either.

M. Highly fizzy and carbonated soda pop texture to this one. Tons of fizzy bubbles dance on the tongue, to the point of distraction. Not really worth the money I spent on this one, unfortunately.

Appearance: Dark reddish-purple. Small head with large, white bubbles recedes quickly leaving behind very minimal lacing.

Smell: Raspberries dominate the aroma. No noticeable hop character. Maybe a hint of vinegar.

Taste: The fruit taste is very enjoyable, yet rather simple. A little more complexity would be appreciated. Absolutely no taste of grains, hops, or alcohol. I feel that I could easily pass this off as a raspberry soda.

Mouthfeel: Lots of carbonation and a light body. The finish is tart but not too tart.

Overall: This was fun to drink but I feel that I will seeking out more complex lambics in the future.

This is a good, but not great, raspberry lambic.

Bright, deep red, it has a medium-small pink head steadily shrinking to a foamy ring and wisps.

Aroma is nice raspberry (and berry in general), dark bread, light yeasty funkiness.

Taste is lightly sweet-tart raspberry, hints of underlying lambic yeasty character. It's not great, but its good, enjoyable, and with just enough of a hint of complexity and lambic rusticness under the fruit to maintain interest and provide somewhat more well-rounded character than many, which are sometimes too fruity and sweet.

Clear ruby colored beer with medium sized pink-white colored head.

Smell is strongly of raspberries as expected. Spicy perfume scent mostly clove and cardamom.

Starts out tasting of sour raspberry with a little sweetness and an apple aftertaste. Fair amount of bitterness in the aftertaste. Not much else to this beer.

Mouthfeel is good.

Overall a tasty Framboise that favors sour over sweet.

The smell was tart and of sour raspberries.

The taste was not quite as sour as the smell but still a slight tartness and of sweet raspberries. Overall very one dimensional.

I really haven't had much from the style but I will say, while not being terrible, I will not drink this one again.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into my Lindemans flute. Produced on January 25th, 2011.

Nearly clear alazarin crimson liquid with a very pale pink crust of active yet lasting foam. Sticky lacing.

Very sweet aroma suggesting various candied fruits, including but not limited to raspberries of course.

Sweet palate entry, with more candy-coated raspberry notes which go back and forth between being dry (thanks to a nearly subliminal hint of funk) and cloying in rapid succession - never really settling on one side of the spectrum. Malt adds a strange flavor in the finish, but this is fleeting. Not especially "natural" or complex. Vaguely metallic and floral throughout, reminding me of Boone's Farms Strawberry Hill, a memory I thought I had blotted out of my early drinking history.

Well carbonated, effervescent, and fairly crisp yet creamy.

Rather a let down; not a terrible beer, but one of the weaker versions of the style (even Lindemans' offerings are significantly more complex).

Timmermans Framboise

Pours a reddish color, pink head and little lace. Aroma of raspberries, sweet puree, and a touch of lambic quality. In the taste, bitter raspberry, mildly funky, and finishes tart, quite sweet and dry. Raspberry lambic beer with a small sour and loads of sweetness. Overall, a decent brew, went well with a waffle for breakfast.

A clear red slightly brown brew, an off-white pinkish head with little lacing and curtains.

The smell is very much raspberries, some penicillin with artificial flavors.

The taste is sweet, sugary, raspberry lemonade, cider and a slight cherry seed bitterness.

High carbonation, small foamy bubbles, a fresh almost watery feeling, a coarse finish.

Very much like a fermented lemonade, not the perky lambic feeling I enjoy.
