I have mixed feelings about brewpub chains, they beefed up the selection for GABF week but the beers were hit or miss. One of their bourbon aged was like mud ... literally like mud, the Milk Stout was good but their Falcon Pale Ale was not up to par.
Service was lacking in knowledge of not only the beer there but how to properly run tables. Temp help during a busy week?
Food is decent, sometimes good and sometimes not ... last visit the food was cold but we did not have enough time to get into complaining about it.
We always end up hitting here during the GABF, I am sure we'll be back ... but more out of convenience.

been in here a few times over the years but somehow just reviewing it now after this most recent trip. it was the only bar that seemed to be open after the avs game walking back to our hotel, and it was a great stop overall, right on the mall downtown. its a huge space, like enormous, with several dining areas, a long bar down the back, a little patio out front, and down the hall a back room that looks like its for private events, another bar back there. it was quiet when we were in, later at night, but it would take a few hundred people for this place not to feel sparse, its that big. a slightly upscale feeling spot with a lot of darker wood features and a sort of corporate feel overall, but its pleasant, low key, and the service at the bar was fantastic when we were there, which enhanced our experience. chalkboard menu showed maybe ten or a dozen beers on, we had an old school ipa that was solid and familiar, a generic but well executed helles, and a yeasty wheat beer that they were calling a wit but also seemed to sort of have a hefeweizen ester profile to it, tasty. they have always had solid beer in here, i dont think they get enough love for that, its obvious they know what theyre doing in the brew house, but in denver to get hype you have to be pretty elite i suppose. we didnt eat here, but they have a full menu, have to dig in next time. i like that they are open late, have a full bar, and reasonable prices all things considered. reliable liquid, friendly service, and a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. maybe one of the better locations for this chain.

I came here on game-day, which was overcrowded and it was hard to find a seat but that's to be expected just about everywhere so it will not factor into my rating here. There was a great selection and the prices were decent. I got the excellent Hair of the Tongue Imperial IPA and it was delicious! I in fact didn't know the ABV until I decided to check on here and it was a whopping 10.5%abv, so the beer was very well executed. The food was awesome too, we got some chicken strips that were high quality and very fresh. I would definitely recommend this great place for their selection, atmosphere, and quality. Cheers.

For 16th street this was a decent blend of craft beer and inexpensive enough food.

The beer was fine, but the food was terrible. I've stopped going to Rock Bottom because my food is never cooked properly, always overcooked. Although the selection of both beer and food are good, they don't know how to cook it.
Also, we had to wait long periods of time to order, receive drinks, and ultimately food as well.
I've been here twice, and won't go back.

Larger place, with a quality and comfortable feel. Nice out door seating and drinking area, as well a multiple bar areas in side. Didnt realize it was a chain upon visiting and staying a while, so thats gotta be a good thing.
Decent place for a bite or quality draft. On the less seedy and touristy side of 16th. Not a must visit destination, but served the purpose of an easy and enjoyable enough brew stop, upon getting to downtown Denver. More interesting spots were sought out afterwords

Stopped in here when I arrived in Denver. Nice little place with typical mountain west decor of wood, stone, and brick. Nice big bar, some fermenters above. Helpful and friendly service, had 3 samplers with decent enough beer. Bartender didn’t charge me for any of those which was nice. Got some steak tacos and they were OK but obviously frozen chain food quality. Overall worth stopping in but no need to go out of your way.
