I've been living in Prague for two years and usually nobody believe me when I say that Czech Republic has few decent kinds of beer. Locals seems to be uninterested in something else than pilsners, but drink them in horrific quantities. For some time my place was Pivovarsky club with best local selections and seldom good foreign kinds, then I switched to Belgian pub and then finally, found the Odd dog, which is my favourite now.
The interior is quite ascetic but clean, balcony floor, but smoking. The bartenders are nice but seems to be not very interested in beer, just doing their job (but doing it well). But the choice beat everything - on tap: NØGNE Ø, Mikkeller, Brewdog, Thornbridge + some rare Czech styles, good choice of bottled beer (Amager, Nørrebro) - the owner eagerly searching for something new. There is also an e-store.
Overall if you tired of pilsners, or just want to have some real beer you have no alternatives - this dog maybe odd but very friendly. It's just impossible to find such selection on tap anywhere else in Czech Republic.

One of the best places in town which in case of Prague means a lot. Far away from the tourist trek (takes about 15 minutes on tram from the center so it is not that bad). The beer collection is very impressive including rare beers from both czech republic and the world. You can frequently find the masterpieces by Matushka (the highly acclaimed modern czech brewer). The food is minimal but all the little meat jars they have on offer are unique and imported from one of the village farms outside Prague. After tasting as much as you can from the beer menu here you can continue the beer tour at Pivovar Bašta just 10 minutes away which serves great beer and one of the best foods in Prague for very affordable prices. Finish the evening at Zlý Časy.
